At What Point Do People Admit Miles Knows What He Is Doing?

4 straight 10 win seasons in the toughest division in football, where if you win the division, you win/play for the national championship?

80% winning percentage over 9 years?

Miles is not perfect. He makes mistakes. But, he wins and is consistent and has us competing for national championships every 2-3 years (or 4).

Yes, I would like to win every game by 35 points. But, it doesn't work that way.

Oh, and if Mett is playing, we win the game by 35 points today. Without doubt.

He knows this coaching thing. It's just our own fan base that thinks he's as idiot.

Needs to hit a homerun with a QB to calm these fricks. Everyone has JJ syndrome around here.

Actually, numerous people that aren't LSU fans call him an idiot (and the national media laugh at him at times as well).

He just does things that make people go a little nuts at times and question what he's thinking.

But in the end, he knows the major keys for consistently succeeding in the SEC and does what he needs to do.

All coaches have blind spots. CLM's is the last 60 seconds of a game, and that tends to shine brighter than others. Beyond that, he's as good as they come.

One more NC. That will never happen I'm afraid.

I'm always happy when LSU gets the W, but I'll never be a Miles fan.

Les is a mediocre coach and LSU is a mediocre football team. Move on.

Well, I'm not always the biggest fan of Miles as far as a game day coach goes and 1/9/12 is still not lost on me.

But we've had three trips to the SECCG while he has been here (won two of them) finished 2nd in the West four other times and finished 3rd two other times (with 3rd in the toughest division in America being the lowest we've finished).

We're 6-3 in bowls with 2 BCS bowl wins (including a NC), and of course, we lost the Mulligan Bowl in the other NC which I still hold against him with the way it went down. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. He knows you have to have a good running game to consistently succeed in the SEC and we have that every year. A lot of coaches get side tracked with thinking other things are the answer. We've had 44 wins over the last four years. Certainly, he blows some games (like the bowl game last year against Clemson where he didn't run Hill like he did today), but has any other team in the West been that consistent over that same time?

It might not be the NC success Bama had before the Auburn loss, but it has been consistent. He drives me nuts at times and I want more considering the recruits that flock to LSU, but I have to be fair.

Les did not have a clue what was going on with the clock and the downs at the end of the game.
Les should inspire all of us--do so much wrong and still make over $4 million a year...

No. No, it's not. It's fans of other teams that watch the same LSU games we do, too.
