The problem is not the oline. It’s mainly that the OC won’t commit to the run. He has the same problem Sean Peyton used to have, but worse. Also the QB is not quite SEC ready.

For the trifecta, all we need him to say now is “I will be the football coach at LSU next season.”

This. The guy has no idear how to manage expectations. That does not help him with the fan base which was expecting greatness from last year’s d and this year’s o.

Has he changed his mind?

He’s basically said this same shite every single season when fall practice begins… Everyone should understand by now that, no he didn’t change his mind but rather he has no idea what in the hell he’s talking about.

He’s really bad at position evaluation and everything that goes into it. When Orgeron says his offensive line is the best unit on the team, he’s only believing that b/c the offensive line had the upper hand on the defensive line in practices…

That’s how the dude evaluates his units on the team.

Perhaps he meant for the other team?

And he told the truth. The defense and Oline were usually the reason he won a shite load of games.

We wanted him fired for a 9-3 record in 2015…

Also, last season he said the defense was better than at any time in 2019. How can he be so wrong each year??

And Joe says the infrastructure bill won’t cost us anything.

When coaches say stuff like this...it's usually intended to create a narrative that protects that group. In this case, he was probably trying to keep UCLA from scheming to attack the OL.

We don't have to pretend that Orgeron didn't actually recognize that the OL had problems.

Any other team returning all upperclassmen starters on O-line would be 100% correct

Les’ stats after every scrimmage (rushed for 250 and threw for 250).

Funny looking back now that Les thought 250yds passing was winning at offense.

And anyone listening knew it was a lie on par with "Defense looks better than it ever did last year."

well to be fair fans got their dicks hard when players on the oline announced they'd be coming back this season

It's not that he's wrong, it's that he is intentionally lying to the fan base. It's becoming obvious that you can't trust a single word out of his mouth
