This... How many NCs combined is that between them eh?
Also, if they transfer from USC don't they have to sit out a year?

Because of the sanctions appeals ruling, the answer is no. Any USC senior(and only seniors) are able to transfer to any school right now and can play right away.
Yes there is a chance one might see a USC transfer Senior play against LSU for UO.
Us Ducks sure are hoping some do! But as of yet, no word on if any will be leaving yet.
I myself would like 2 beefy O-lines, 2 large WR's and a side of MLB. And make this order to go please.

bison who was your momma chasing & why?

you blew bison ducks cover. i have been telling him the weakness in the offense was OL size, WR size and RB size. The LB wish is telling too.

I'd put big money on our RB's vs your DB's in a foot race.
This is not really what team speed is about, for starters. Secondly, you probably have the fastest man on the field (James), but we've got the next 5.
Team speed is about speed to the edges. It is about the ability of your interior defenders to get outside and make a player like James cutback into traffic.
And we have that kind of speed. It really doesn't matter that you haven't heard anybody talk about it.

You guys are funny. Thinking you are the NFL and all. I know that was meant in comedy by the writer, but man, I have only been hanging around this site for a month now and I figure if I spend a few more months here I will probably turn out to get brainwashed in SEC Kool-aid like this guy(click link).
Bama fan working in Portland calls radio show
(This was last year, 50 percent into the CF year and this Bama fan(or average "Team SEC" fan) got sent to Portland, my city, to do some work here. While working here he was so repulsed and Jealous by all this Oregon Football talk on the Ducks main Radio station(that carries all our Games)in Portland that he just had to call in. When you listen you will notice he thinks all others and other styles are beneath his, loves being amazingly rude, loves insulting the radio hosts, and anybody he can and then wonders why no one wants to have a conversation with him. But he is being serious and this is how he really thinks. He provided our city with much entertainment and our whole city thinks he is a jackass. I wonder if this is common to think just like him in the South? You tell me.
And also, as you listen to it, us West coast people cannot for the life of us understand how people in the South can think other teams belong to them and whatever the 11 other teams do in the SEC it belongs to them, ie. "team SEC". So for instance, if your Ole Myth: no problem, your team did not suck, cause hey, your "team SEC", your team is any other team in your Conference doing good at the time. I thought each had his own team? But not in the South. It is one team with 12 heads, and the bottom feeders share in the glory of the head. Just switch loyalties and wham, instant Bama or AU fan, just like that. One does not have to be a fan of a team, just a Conference, and that gives a person 12 chances to win. When another wins the BCS, hey, "we won, yet again, high five, my team SEC won". We out West just cannot for the life of us understand that. Neither can the Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, everybody elts. Don't get me wrong, us Ducks love our Conference, but you don't ever see us bragging on what USC did and claiming it for our own as if "our team" did it. Michigan will never pull for tOSU, but we in the PAC will pull for others in the PAC and that is cool. However, no one in the PAC claims their identity off what another 12-PAC did. Its "they" and "us", not "we". Notice how that caller called USC "you" referring to us Ducks. We are not USC. That is "them" we us "us".
Anyways, sorry for the long rant but each regions people cannot for the life of us understand the logic and reasoning with the South with the SEC thing. To the rest of the country it is the most ridiculous thinking. Maybe someone here can explain this kind of logic to non SEC people on here such as myself. No disrespect, I just do not understand this line of reasoning.
Posted on 5/28/11 at 11:29 am to DucksflyinPAC
We respect a lot of other SEC teams that we have to battle year in and year out. We take pride in running the gauntlet. We cheer when we see a much-hyped (usually over-), national program humbled or simply just beaten by a team in our conference. Your post proves that college football is more important and has deaper meaning to people in the south than in other parts of the country.

You should have listened to local sports talk radio here whenever a PAC team got a big non-conference win. In 2007 when Cal beat TN they were on the radio saying "whatta ya think now, Les Miles?" because of what Les said about the PAC's SOS. I get into it with ASU fans all the t I'm e because they would say "Well USC would beat this team." or "That team cant hang with USC". Ive never seen a fanbase ride the coattails of another single program til I mved out here.
And for whoever brought up LSU getting a gift from the Beavers in '04, Bob Stoops says "WTF?"
By the way, Boise State showed what happens when youre more physical with Oregon in sweeping the home-and-home series. The '09 game wasnt even that close. Pretty embarassing to get mauled in the trenches.by BOISE STATE. You'll get even worse treatment on Sept. 3rd.

every person that brings up this either didn't watch the game and/or forgets that if not for LSU giving "GIFTS" to Oregon State with having 2 fg's missed and a TD called back Oregon State would have not even been in the game for the 3 missed extra points to have mattered...
its amazing how they ALWAYS FAIL to mention LSU's missed points...

If that Gump really said that, how ignorant and embarassing....

Yeah I forgot about those missed points. At least LSU didnt need the refs to steal one for them. That was a disgrace. Anyway, something that happened 7 years ago will have nothing to do with this game.

Hey look. I didn't mean to start a flame war with that Beaver/LSU game. To be honest, I had never even seen that game in my life(or knew of the facts totally). I had only heard about it, and how OSU was really close to beating LSU. And well, I accidentally came across that highlight link of that game and it got me thinking... if our little brother could almost win at LSU why is it some LSU fans are saying there is no way UO can't even hang with your team then?
And well, I also posted it cause it had your former star L.Russell playing in it when he was a Freshman. So I thought even LSU fans would enjoy seeing that link to that game. Anyways, I only know what happened in that game from that link I posted. And I don't remember seeing how LSU missed field goals or such when I saw it. And if you all say that was so, I believe you. I am sorry, as I did not know this info. I just remember seeing that highlight link(a few nights ago)and came away with me thinking OSU would of won if they even made one of their 2 extra points they missed, not including the extra point in OT.
So blame me, my bad. I did not know all the facts about that game. I am sorry. Maybe now we can move on from that OSU/LSU game.
Back to that radio call in clip with that Bama dude...
Maybe some LSU fan can answer me about that radio show call in guy(that Bama/SEC fan).(I would prefer you only comment on it if you have listened to it.) I do however understand the deep South takes its football TONS more serious then us out west in general(by a long mile)so that is not in question or debate. What I am wanting to know is, is that guy who called in the radio show normal for the deep South's mindset as a whole? Or was he a fluke and isolated soul? Out West we have this perception that this is normal. Is it?

As you can see from hanging out here we are all not like that. However, I must admit that per capita there are probably more of these types in the South than most would feel comfortable admitting. I have personally come across much of both. It does make for a very passionate (sometimes misguided) fan base

Different topic, I know, however... There is no doubt Vegas will have BSU the favorite against GA. BSU is the real deal. Not saying they are best team to ever play CF ever, but they very much have a great chance to beat about anyone(with that QB they have and awesome program/team). (just do not tell BSU fans I said this as I detest most of their fans). I think BSU could give any other SEC team a good fight the last few years. And I think they will easily beat GA this year. (so will Vegas). And I also think BYU will be favored at Old Miss. (and they too will win).
I know this is a great shock to some that some teams out West can play football, but out West we already know this. BSU beat us, 2 years in a row, oh well, we have moved on. As you saw last year however we were 40 percent improved last year then back then. Also of note, their DC was a former D standout ex-player for Oregon. So he knew us well. Also, their HC is a former UO assistant coach too.(And thats probably were he got his smarts... and knew us well) And well Stanford beat us that same year too. But we smashed them last year. So ya, we lost to BSU and Standford(and tOSU) 2 years ago. But last year we lost to nobody except AU. So whats your point? Different team, different year. However most knowledgeable BSU fans have admitted if BSU played UO last year they would not have won last year. We had just improved too much. But BSU has a great team.(though I detest them). Its only the South that does not think BSU is good. Not until they play GA that is...
(btw- the late hits at the '08 game is what started the bad blood with UO-BSU. Some of BSU dirty play late hits vs UO '08.
Masoli got a bad concussion from his late hit to the head. And that bad blood trickled into the '09 game which you are all familiar with. (L.Blount punch). Back then, UO was not the only team they were dirty with. To OSU they were the same and many others. Their players play dirty. And though I like their HC and program, their dirty players and small mans syndrome fans are why I detest BSU. So no, I am not a BSU fan defending them. But they do have a very good team IMO.)
