What's the avg D line weight in tommy hodson days compared to now?

Wouldn't it be nice to have an above average QB for several years like others schools?

He redshirts, we he has 2 good seasons and he's gone. We know what we have with Etling so if Myles comes in and is on par or better than let him start and build chemistry with Canada and the rest of the offense for the next 2 years.

He will do a cycle, gain the average 20 lbs and bulk up.

Who are all these QBs hitting the draft after their RSSO seasons? QBs don't even typically go after true junior seasons... no matter how good

Can't wait for this kid to get to campus
Great passer and more importantly, seems to possess the pre-requisite "Knowledge of the Game" and "Quick Information Processing Skills" that all of the great QB's have.
I'd feel more comfortable for him (And Etling) if we had an OL that was a lot more advanced at pass protection. (Thanks Miles/Grimes for 4 years of god-awful OL recruiting)

I'll bett the 2017 line outweighs the 1989 line by a whole 1989 lineman.

It's not the weight of his body that's important, but his ability to make reads and to do no harm to the team with his throws.

I totally agree. But SEC LBs and DL are gonna hurt this kid if he doesnt bulk up....which I'm sure he will.

What hole have you been living in? LSU had a highly regarded OL last year and should have a good one this year.

I have a feeling that he redshirts. I know he's a stud but knowing the playbook through and through is extremely important.
Can he not get a copy of the playbook until he gets on campus, even though he has already signed his LoC?

Not sure he's big enough to take some SEC hits right now. 6=3, 180 lbs is a little lean.

Sorry i cant imagine been so long. what would we do if we couldnt complain about the QB after a game or after a season
It will always happen. Posters on here complained about Jamarcus Russell in 2006 and Mett in 2013.

Such a misnomer, the only decent QB we have had is Mett and he is the only one that didnt get thrown into it.
And why is that I wonder? Why is it we seem to be one of the few teams that have never had any luck in getting a QB that starts day 1. Even Miss St has done it

If Brennan is the best player he should start
Its not just a talented arm ....it is learning Canada's complex play book which is not easy even for Etling and that is why they put off his medical treatment of his back.

Agreed with most of this. But you don't really know why they put off his treatment

So if you're wrong, will you melt (as you've suggested re: other fans). You don't seem to mind riding this train, but seem to enjoy calling out others for liking who they like. So here goes: UNTIL THE KID PROVES IT AS COLLEGE PLAYER,take his cock out of your mouth, OR let other comment on who they like without being a dick.

Since it looks like none of the QB's was super impressive in spring football, Brennan should get a chance this fall. Hope he is a quick study.
