It’s due to their style of play. Grind it out, limit the number of possessions, shorten the game. They will likely win the time of possession and still lose by 30+.

Stats aren’t the story. They use up lots of time on offense so opposing stats might not be overwhelming but this will not be difficult for lsu. I’m a syracuse fan and can tell you that they were frustrating as heck to play. They’ll get some first downs and waste time. But they’ll wear down quickly and can’t throw at all from behind so it’ll be a pretty straightforward win.

Having watched Army this year I can tell you their shiny new offense isn’t anywhere near as intimidating or effective as their flexbone was. Unless LSU has a complete meltdown they will be up by 7 scores at the half. Army’s defense is terrible.
