Arky has been one of the better teams in the SEC so far this season. Right now, they would probably be favored by 7-8 pts on a neutral court over LSU.

Never understood what the pumpers saw, they probably love shitty football coaches as well. Matt seems like a good person, but he is just not the right fit here.

I was told after last year he just needed NIL money. Apparently we spent upwards of 8 million on this team and it bought us Dedon Thomas and a bunch of mid major players. It’s disgusting what Woodward and McMahon have done to our basketball program.

I really don't agree with your claim that LSU has the worst head basketball coach in the SEC. Players can make or break a coach. Football is a great example of this. Curly Hallman at USM had a qb by the name of Brett Farve. Do I need to explain further about the results of what took place. If you flip the players on Arkansas men's basketball with that of LSU men's basketball 2025-26 (current teams) you would be happy with LSU's coach and Arkansas's coach would probably be getting fired. LSU is just not getting the top players in the country. Yes, LSU coach will probably get fired at some point but not because he can't coach.....he can't recruit. Coach of Kentucky leaves and goes to Arkansas. Look at how many 5 star basketball players are interested in and sign with Arkansas. How many 5 star basketball players have even listed LSU in their top 5 with the current head coach. The answer is clear....if you have the right coach the players will come. Matt just isn't the right coach.

He’s had 2 top 16 classes nationally in the first 3 seasons. He’s had multiple 5* recruits and is around 5th or 6th in the SEC in top 100 recruits since he’s been here. It isn’t a talent issue

The coach we had before had ZERO problem getting competitive talent to BR. Maybe ole Matt just can't recruit worth a damn????
