Has Arkansas announced a starter at QB for Saturday? Looking at the stats, KJ Jefferson is the only one we would have to worry about escaping the pocket.

If I were Arkansas and I watched the tape last week, that’s the way I would roll, even if he can’t throw the ball.

In addition to it not being their offense, Jefferson isn't the runner Plumlee is. 16 rushes for 32 yards against Western Kentucky.

I find it odd when someone will start a thread about something they clearly care about and then have someone respond “who cares” when the guy they are responding to is the one who cares...

I have a feeling he's going to face a really passed off defense.

Prayers, vibes..

if he cares so much then maybe he should google it instead of cluttering the board with silly questions....

Btw it was a joke.. as in it won't matter who starts. Chill out Nancy

I would imagine it's going to be KJ Jefferson. Hicks and Starkel have been awful, Jones has an awful arm, and Lunney is going to want to play the guy the team believes in most, which is Jefferson. Going to be a lot of designed runs and option plays. He's not as fast as Plumlee IMO, but he's bigger and harder to bring down. Good arm strength, accuracy questionable.

Bad week to be a first time starter. SEC road game against the #1 team in the country coming off an embarrassing defensive performance? The defense is going to be pissed off and playing with a chip on their shoulder.

No. In fact I just watched Arkansas' Monday presser and their interim coach admitted that they already made their decision but aren't announcing it. I like that guy. I wish all coaches were that blunt.

Listen in the next 5 games (I hope it's 5) LSU will NOT line up against an option QB that runs a 4.2 40ty. So as bad as Plumlee made LSU look last week that will not happen again this year. And certainly not this week.

As bad as he made them look once lsu got up 28-0 and was absolutely boat racing ole miss but I'm sure there's never been 19-22 year old kids that had a letdown. I think we the fans are panicking over something that can be corrected.

It's not that it happened. It happened, and we had no defensive answer. I would like to see an in game adjustment like we saw against Georgia last year.

After watching Plumb-Bob-Lee, Lunney (a former AR QB who advocated for not starting Hicks/Sparkle) is crazy if he doesn't start, or at least give the majority of snaps to, Jefferson.

Living in Arkansas and having to listen to the pig comments every week, it seems they have to pretty much start KJ Jefferson. The other three are just terrible. Course being as I want to beat their arse as bad as we can. I hope they start Ben Hicks

New Coach and they played competitive in the early part of the season. I think it will be a game in the 1st half for sure!

Yeah, but our defense isn't as good as W. Kentucky's.
