I watched the highlights replay

They were wrestling and tackling our DL

If the refs called the holding calls

Or if they didn’t hold

They would have scored half the points

You can’t blame a defense or even secondary if an offense is allowed to hold

To prevent sacks and/or buy more time

I can definitely blame the secondary for losing guys in coverage and I can also blame the DL for losing their rush lanes and allowing KJ to escape.

With that said, I told the guy sitting next to me that there was no way KJ was scrambling this much and their OL wasn't holding. Its incredibly difficult to block for a guy when you don't know where he will be.

I can’t blame Zy Alexander for coming up in run support on a 3rd down when they’re in a Cover 3 and he literally leaves his deep third of the field?

It's gonna get real old, real fast just complaining about our shortcomings in the secondary

Might as well sit back and let them get it out of their system

Or we could just win by wearing our opponents down with an actual defense.

I didn't understand the reffing of this game.
Seemed wildly inconsistent.

Like you, I saw a ton of holds not called on our guys.

Well, we'll give up 80 to Bama if they allow holding and we don't fight through it.

Worse part of that play was that West Weeks was literally coming up to tackle Jefferson, Zy leaving his man was useless

Arky's first drive they were holding Perkins on a run. They were sneaky about it the hold was for like a second & a half then the OL let go.

I live in NWA and learned yesterday that Arkansas fans believe they should’ve won. They believe we suck and that the refs are the only reason they lost.

Delusion at its finest, as most of Arkansas penalties were false starts that had little to no impact as usually they had big gainers right after them.

Noticed a pretty damning one on Andre Sam right in front of the official… no call.

I get that

But if it wasn’t for the obvious and blatant holding
Many of those plays would not have happened

It’s ridiculous how little they call offensive holding. I see Olinemen with their entire arms wrapped around a defender’s neck in a choke hold as they move to the outside and they never call it.

I also think an RB stiff-arming a guy right in the face mask or the helmet should be a penalty every time.

We couldn't score 80 even if you guys don't show up for the game.

at least you admit to your bias.

Most people here only see the world through purple and gold glasses. The other team holds, we don't. The refs miss calls against us, but never miss calls on us.

It's childish. Every team, in every sport, in ever game can point to bad calls. It happens - and it mostly evens out over the course of a game or a few games.
