Shores should just be a guy who comes in the 9th and tosses 100mph fastballs to close that should be his role. He doesn't have an out pitch and he doesn't have enough control over his limited pitches anyway. Toss them 100mph fastballs and make them catch up to it which it seems everyone just sits on that anyway because they don't have to worry about anything else coming from him. It's all timing.

Except he’s made bonehead plays like that all year. Hes going to cost us in big spot in the postseason unless he learns how to hit the cutoff man.

The throw from Stansfield was dumb, but didn’t result in a run. Kade got us out of that inning after.
