Its the 2nd inning, id get it in the 7th, but now? We had root on the ropes. At least work some counts on him, it goes against jays other philosophy

I don’t love the Pearson bunt call. Lefty hitting against a hitter with reverse splits and all you need is a ball behind Frey. Pesson pulls it most of the time anyway.

I hate that for so many reasons. Baseball isn't Timed. You only get 27 outs. We sacrificed 2 of them for nothing. Arkansas averages 9+ runs a game and we're playing for 1 in the 2nd inning. It's Friday night we need to work this pitch count and the sooner our guys see this guy 2+ times the better. Sacrificing outs and having guys focus on bunting instead of swinging doesn't help them their next time up to face him
