More confident than many of the last 15 seasons when we were just a QB away from competing for titles.

That’s impossible to determine at this moment. But he should be more than capable at this point to be productive. If he’s not, he never will be.

Nuss had a swing pass to Diggs which he dropped, a hitch to Nabers which hit him in both hands and he dropped and on 4th down hit Nabers in the chest which he dropped. He sailed one pass, but the WR was doubled so it was more likely a throw away.

I’m not saying he needs to be Tim brady coming in for Bledsoe but come on. Imagine y’all saying those things about other quarterbacks.
Burrow was erratic the first half of 2018 and turned it on the latter half of the season. He went a stretch of 4 games without a TD pass. He also threw a pick six to end our chances to beat Florida.
JD despite being a starter since his Fr year struggled last season vs a bad Arkansas, Auburn and A&M team.
Some of you are salivating at the opportunity to jump on any bad play by Nuss or create unrealistic expectations.

Why would Pratt come to LSU when he knows the Tulane system , thrives in it and will be drafted ????

Stetson Bennett says hello. And Nuss is more athletic and mobile than that douche.

He’s not that good. We have a bunch of mouth breathers who think one half of garbage time is relevant, but every opportunity he’s had, he’s shown he’s not very good.
Someone posted on anther thread that Nuss' play vs Georgia was second highest of all QBs, last season.
The only QB who played better was the Ohio St QB, CJ Stroud, who I believe was the first QB in the NFL draft. He is starting in the NFL.
Was that "Garbage Time" when he entered the game in the second quarter?
Does that count or are you the mouth breather?

I'd expect 4000 yards 30 TD and like 20 INT/fumbles

Nuss is more than capable of leading this offense. It will be a step back because he doesnt have the wheels Daniels has to bail us out when needed but i do think we will still be good on offense. Im more worried about having to replace the production from the wr spot. Weve seen what Nuss can do but we havent see anything from wrs not named Nabors, Thomas or even Lacey.

If we have a shite defense, what does it matter if he is any good.
