We didn't wear purple against UAB last year, because of Saban's UAB loss his very first year in the gold-purple-gold. LSU folks don't take our superstitions lightly.

Question of uniforms was asked at CK dinner tonight at ribs.. he said he likes what they have been wearing and no reason to change .
Also said they are doing things that have never been done in tiger stadium before this game and something new at the end of game..
So stay and let’s find out together.

Correct. Last time we had a situation like this was Washington in 2012. It’s tragic we don’t get more marquee out of conference games.
I went to every LSU home game for 10 straight years when I lived in state, and that game was the only one where we played an OOC P5 school.

I don't like the helmet change when they do the alternates.
Wonder how the gold (yellow) helmets would work with like a charcoal jersey/gold (yellow) numbers (for that darker alternate appearance).
I know charcoal isnt 'traditional' but isn't that the point here?

I was a student during the Arnsparger/Archer years (80s) and still love that look.
Classic gold/white/gold is the best though.

We only wore white against Grambling bc it was the first home game.
In normal circumstances, LSU will wear the traditional white jerseys unless the following criteria is met:
-home game
-not the first home game of the season
-opponent is FCS level or non-Power 5
The last one is tricky. Army is FBS and not FCS, but they don't belong to a conference. They technically have the same standing as Notre Dame.
If I could bet on it, I would say LSU rolls out with the all white uniforms they wore against Tennessee last year and A&M the year before.
LSU will undoubtedly wear purple jerseys vs Georgia State

Lsu football ig just posted a pic of a white jersey with an American flag patch. I bet we either go all white or traditional G/w/g
