Are we wearing purple jerseys at any point this year?

Seems like this week’s game against Army would be a good time to do it. I like seeing those jerseys once or twice a year.

Why would you think we would NOT wear purple jerseys? It’s a non-conference opponent at home. You should expect for us to wear purple.
We only wore white against Grambling bc it was the first home game.

Purple jerseys and gold pants are awesome. No special fonts or holographic stuff necessary.

It’s amazing that people don’t know when we wear purple. It’s been the same for 20+ years. I thought maybe he heard something and we were wearing a one-off uniform since we are playing Army.
For anyone who doesn’t know:
We wear white at home for all conference games and the first home game of the season (whether it’s conference or not). We wear purple for non- conference home games (as long it isn’t the 1st home game as mentioned above).
***there is 1 exception to the purple non-conference rule. If we are playing a marquee non-conference team at home we will wear our whites at home as that is our brand. For example: if we would have played Texas in 2020 we would have worn white at home even though it wasn’t our 1st home game.
We will wear purple this week against Army and we will wear purple Nov 18th against GA State.

We didn’t wear purple against UAB last year. Did against New Mexico though. I could see them wanting to be in traditional whites bc of the historical significance of the game.

This is correct and it was a break from tradition. I seem to remember that it was because of an issue with UAB like they brought the wrong uniforms or something, but that might not be right. I can’t find anything that mentions it at all.

Thank you! It drives me crazy as well. LSU has a very specific protocol for what they wear outside of very specific and well publicized special games.
Every year people ask the same questions.

Saturday is non-conference home game so yes. Purple jerseys with same old pants.

It's too loud and it led to the dismissals of Stovall, Archer and Hallman. No thanks-- too much history with that uniform, all bad.
