Are we allowed to get advice from Joe Brady on certain aspects of his playcalling?

Allowed? Why wouldn't we be allowed?

Don't you think Brady will be a little busy though?

I would hope that the current OC that called the majority of the plays wouldn't need to seek advice from the former PGC.

The current OC who called the majority of the plays that the former PGC designed may need some advice on designing new plays that current OC could not design so he can call those the majority of the time.

Would be pretty sad considering LSU now has two co-coordinators making $800k each, 2nd highest of all coaches on staff

I think people on here get too caught up into who calls the plays. There's a lot more that goes into coordinating a good offense than just calling the plays.

Apparently the new PGC who has years of NFL experience as an OC was specifically selected because he is a good 3rd down and red zone play caller. Maybe he can add to the current play book. That's what he was hired to do.

I suppose, but it's identifying an opponent's tendency's and weaknesses that determine the plays called so the play caller has to be able to adjust.

In 2018 I noticed we actually started fast vs most opponents. That would indicate that SE put together a good pre-game plan and scripted plays. Where we failed was red zone and in game adjustments so productivity didn't always yield points. In 2019 we essentially overwhelmed opponents from the kick and were able to remain productive in the red zone.

Scheme was a major part, but talent, experience and execution are what changed a what would be very good 2019 offense into a prolific one. We keep the scheme, but take a drop in talent and experience. Execution is a function of the prior and coaching.

Better question is what goes on in your head to think that this thread was a good idea? Don’t you think he has his own problems to worry about in Carolina?

He’ll be sitting in his living room on Saturdays with a direct communication line to the offensive coordinators Booth and Ensminger.
So yes.

I think to automatically assume that Joe Brady knows more offense then our new passing game coordinator is a stretch. New guy has 30 years more experience

The guy leaning back quietly while Brady had a play sheet in his hand called the plays?
