I just don’t get the hate

That's my point

LSU just knocked the ball out of the park with Alleva, then Woodward. But suddenly a few fans want to circle the wagons around a 3 loss coach, who also lost to Troy St. And they hate Jimbo because of it

You wonder why we don’t get it? It’s likely because statements like this make absolutely zero sense and sound insane. In one statement you claim that yes you’d take Jimbo over 0 any day then directly after you use some stupid semantics to say that no you wouldn’t. It’s almost as if logic and common sense want to come out but your blind loyalty won’t allow you to let

Reading comprehension not your thing huh?

I'll talk slower. If I was hiring a coach today and the two choices were Jimbo and O I'd hire Jimbo everytime but I would never consider firing O and pulling the rug out from under what I believe to be a competitive if not championship team to hire jimbo. If O shits the bed down the road then yes I'd hire Jimbo. You don't have any decency so you have no problem showing your sorriness to everyone.

Was just about to say this.

But I've learned that his past is inadmissible in these discussions.

Orgeron gets about half of what Jimbo gets and has a better record the past two years

If you wanted to replace Orgeron you' can do so much better than Jimbo. His current salary made him unhirable

That’s an opinion without basis and that’s all it is. It’s not a reason it’s not logical and if your goal is to win championships it’s also false. Btw that’s what he gets at ATM, you have no idea what his deal would be here so on top of all the other nonsense you’re arguing something that isn’t even real.

He's already accomplished more than most coaches ever will. He is a better coach.

Sounds like you already question Woodward's decisions, since he brought him to A&M.

No it ain't.

Jimbo has as many FCS championships as gene Chizick, and for the same reason. A phenom at QB

His last two seasons he's been 14-10. Find a better coach

Like I said, semantics and personal wishes is what you’re arguing. The fact that you resort to name calling and insults when I haven’t even come close to attacking you says everything about the strength of your position. You may as well just openly admit you’re wrong, you’ve already admitted it indirectly, at least you’d save some face and dignity.

Because O talk like us and can peppa da gumbo, sha! I legitimately had “friends” delete me on FB because of my criticism of O. The average fan is satisfied winning 9-10 games and a meaningless non-playoff NY6 bowl appearance. All in the name of having a Cajun baw as our coach.

If he loses to Saban again, OK, almost everyone does. But what if he loses to Saban and Mullen? Or Saban and Malzahn? Keep him with those 2 losses?

What if we see a repeat of last year? Losses to Jimbo, Mullen, and Saban? Does he get a 4th try at Saban?

And if he loses to Herman, and with an expected loss to Saban, how many other loses do you allow him?

I like the way the program is trending, it's simply not time to worry about hiring a coach that you're not even guaranteed to get. Let's see where we are after this year.

Honestly, I don't care about Jimbo. He's a decent coach, probably not worth the risk of $75 million.

I also don't like the idea of O consistently getting raises when the sell was "Hire me cheap and I will hire the best," then he turns around saves money on E, gets similar results to a fired coach, and gets a raise from that.

Jimbo makes sense, he won a championship. Someone will value him enough to give him that shot and TAMU just happens to have truckloads of cash to spend. I don't think they did it in a vacuum. And I wouldn't be surprised if Jimbo takes TAMU to the playoffs. Or completely tanks.

But he hasn’t just won national titles, he’s the alltime win percentage leader at FSU, he’s been to multiple playoffs, he’s won several division and conf titles, so your selective criticisms don’t hold up. He already is a better coach by lightyears. Try again.
