You don’t WANT to see it. That’s the issue.

Apologies that he didn’t beat BAMA, a decade long dynasty, in his second full year as head coach.

Like I said in the OP, same ole shite again "Wait til next year". Hopefully Woodward doesn't agree, and moves a 3-loss Orgeron down the road, just like he did Sumlin

Sumlin didn't finish in the top 25 since 2013. He finished 5 in 2012, 18 in 2013, and then unranked the rest of his tenure.

O has done the opposite at LSU.

You're ignorant, and should shut up.

What about when Saban was coaching LSU and we lost to UAB?

I love when people try to compare the program Saban took over to the program O took over. It shows how dumb you are.

O and Ensminger haven’t scored against Bama in two tries. At home. Let’s work on scoring against them before we talk about beating them.

But I should tamp down my expectations of an elite FB coach, and be content with 3 and 4 losses a year?

Are you drunk, trolling or just down right dumb??

Our expectations haven't changed one fricking bit. We're not tamping down anything. We have a better record as each year passes with this coach.

Personally, after winning 10 games last year, a returning stud QB this year and with the team we have., the addition of Joe Brady, ...this will be one of the best LSU/Bama games this year. I expect us to win that one too. I also expect us to have no more than 1-2 losses as well.
Each year, our record is better and better.

Give our coach a chance. If he shits the bed this year, then you have the right to post the crap your posting.

Sumlin beat Bama in his first year, and he's fired now.

Quit acting like that it's some daunting task. Freeze, Sumlin, and Malzahn have all beat him and two of those guys don't even have HC jobs anymore.

Can we at least score on them this season? How desperate is that? If we score on them this year that'll be considered an upwards trajectory.

Anybody that seriously tries to use the Saban/UAB game as a measuring stick for O needs to stop drinking the retard juice. Saban and O are about as similar as Caitlyn Jenner and Richard Simmons

So watch youre saying is that Woodward took a guy that couldn't finish better than LSU in the SECW, and found one that did

Now we have a coach that cant finish higher than the guy Woodward found at A&M. Be careful what you wish for. Or maybe you should shut up?

Wouldn't it have been expected that O and E could have at least figured out a way to at least score?

Even in mop up time?

I mean the one guy he hired that did score on Bama, he fired after one year. Sorry, but that doesn't build my confidence in his championship abilities. Like Miles, hes only coaching for contract extensions at this point

Read the context of what the post was about
. The RobBob was pointing out that CEO lost to Troy St. Well, Saban lost to UAB. Not comparing teams, not comparing coaches, ...I'm simply making a comparison to the similarities of the 2 embarrassing losses by each coach.

I was at the UAB game. It fricking happened to the greatest coach of my lifetime.

Hes in his 4th year and 3 losses is his best, I repeat best product. What exactly is shitting the bed to you? 3 losses again OK? 4 losses if Texas beats us? Where exactly, in writing, do you draw the line?

Your answer will confirm or reject my entire OP, that fans have given up on elite level of coaching

You don't see why fans are skeptical though? No matter what anyone personally thought of Orgeron's hiring, it was still a huge reach.

We improved by one game in one year. Last season was fun as hell, and we did improve, but let's not frame Orgeron's accomplishments thus far as a massive turnaround. We're still on the same plateau this program was when he took over.

I'm with you. I'm extremely optimistic about this team. I believe we can be really good. However...

Let's not count chickens before they hatch. Some on this board were celebrating 10 wins in Orgeron's first season before the Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame.

it comes out to 9-4. A&M becomes a win and Auburn and Georgia become losses. It’s basic math.

Which is 11 wins according to some 2018 pre-season posts. So I guess O is awesome.

I honestly agree with everything you’re saying in this thread, but I have to be honest—all I ever see you do on this board is defend O. Makes it hard to see past the “only love the coach” criticism you’re quick to dismiss.

I don’t know you, but going by this board alone you can at least understand why you have a reputation as just being an O guy, not an LSU guy.

3 losses are not acceptable - especially back to back seasons.
3 losses and he should be on the hot seat. Period.
Lose to Texas and beat Bama, I can live with that.
Lose to Texas and lose to Bama, start warming up the hot seat.

ETA: We havent had a solid returning QB in years. If CEO cant get it done this year and impress us, then its time for Woody to pull the trigger for Jimbo. There's no excuse for this team not to excel this year.

Yea I know so many facts and so much reality to the narrative that Orgeron is a better coach than Jimbo. Mountains of evidence to prove that one. Lmfao crawl back into your delusional hole you shill.
