Mine will be 5 months at the start to ‘23 season

I’m excited to strap them on my chest for their first game, even if it’s just a little while.

My question is what about the noise? Do they sell small enough ear protection for 6mo-1yr? Sorry I’m going to be a new dad and I don’t know these things.

Here is what is not appropriate age…

5yo child to Mon make up Tenn game (Miles’ 1st) during Katrina aftermath.

More low class fans per capita with long day of too much sweating, too little hydration, and too much libation.

That one was a doozy.

I don’t know what all that other rambling was, but yes everyone knows it was the hottest game in the history of LSU. Sounds like your child earn their stripes early.

The real question is how old before you let them join in on breaking flags off opponent's cars and throw piss balloons at their fans.

I was one year old on Halloween night 1959. My dad was there. I wish I could say that I was but I wasn't.

I took my son when he was either 3 or 4. Don’t know the exact year but he did okay. I had family friends sitting all around me which made it a whole lot easier

I say a child is old enough to go to an LSU game when they can walk from the car to their seat 9including the entry line)….and also stay awake to walk back to the car after the game. Having to carry a child on game day is a damn bunch of foolishness.

I brought both of mine when they were 5. It was early kickoff in a non conference game. That way we knew “just make it as long as we can”. For both of them they made it a few minutes into the 3rd quarter and that was it.

Probably 10. The result, ultimately, was me having to partially foot the bill for an LSU diploma for two kids

No, the Auburn day game when Fournette went crazy was the hottest game ever

As much as you want to bring them, it depends on your expectations. If you want to go and enjoy the game, plan on at least 6 or 7. Plan on not watching much and leaving early.
