Well Lane just lost to a team he built for 6 years with 2 heisman contenders (and if we executed properly) were a few plays away would have beat that team with a team he built in 8 months........we will be fine

If this game were later in the season, the outcome may have been different. There's alot of fine tuning that needs to be done and this team was at the doorstep. I could list off a half dozen things this team is sub-par at and almost all of them are fixable. That being said, I don't want to see Ole Miss again in the playoffs. I don't want them to make they playoffs. Is it because i'm scared of them? No, it's because it's time for them to go back to the bottom of the SEC with Arkansas.

A 6 year QB makes a difference too.
SL10's first season in this offense has it's growing pains. Trying to game plan against a QB that is viewed as one of the best in the country is always a hard task.
SL10 has some hard knock lessons to learn. He has to stand firm in the pocket and not look to run so quickly. He doesn't have JD5 speed to runaway from them.

In the current NI/transfer era, each season and team no longer has the continuity that existed in the past. Kiffin's $50,000,000 roster tops the SEC with the possible exception of Texas.
What higher percentage of NIL spending compared to other SEC programs will be required for Kiffin to accomplish his goals?

There is no one on the current OM team that was on the team 6 years ago. The "rebuilding" excuse is nonsense. Last year's OM team had its QB, RB, top 3 WRs all in their first year with the team. They did just fine.
In this era of college football every team is a "one year team". After the season is over everyone is a free agent and the staff has to renegotiate all "contracts". This year's LSU team will look much different from next year's LSU team. That's just the nature of the sport.
LSU lost on Saturday because Ole Miss outplayed and outcoached LSU. Simple as that. That doesn't mean the season is over for LSU or that LSU can't get better, much better. But the excuse making is pathetic.

It will be very interesting to see how the rebels do moving forward, especially next year when TC is gone. They keep bragging about how good they did this year signing four and five star players from HS ranks. Time will tell!
