Just goes to show you that they really didnt even pay attention to the season at all....name recognition only

Greedy the only freshman first team

6’5” all day. Not sure you serious?

Chark not getting it over Kirk is a little surprising. He had more yards and like double yards per catch. Kirk was kind of meh this season.
Kind of thought Toliver II or Jackson would get All-SEC, interesting neither did. Both of those guys are jumping to the NFL.
Also surprised 10 defensive linemen were selected and not a single 1 was Gilmore/Lacouture. Both of them put up big stats this year.

Who would have guessed before the season started that both Guice and Chubb would only make the second team?

They gave him All-Purpose...they do that all the time to get more people on the list.
ETA:
Oh I see, Kirk got 1st team all-purpose over Chark. That is surprising.

I'm sure this kid is good but White won DPOW more than anyone else. How can you be the best player for 1/3 of the season and not win DPOY?

It just shows you how completely lazy the people selecting these teams really are. Key only played in 8 games. And outside of a great performance vs. Alabama, he really didn't do much this season.
On the flip side, Smith over White as SEC DPOY is a joke. They both play the same position so it's an apples to apple comparison. With that, White bested Smith in just about ever statistical category. Also Devin White was selected SEC Defensive POW FOUR times. Smith? Zero. Yet, despite never even being the defensive player of the week, Smith is somehow the DPOY? Get the frick out of here!

Major, major props to Greedy Williams for making this list as a freshman. Great things to come from him, I believe.

Any juniors not on this list need to come back for their senior year. (WEATHERSBY, JACKSON, TOLLIVER)

Looks as if they got it right to me. Can not argue with any deletions here.

i can guarantee you the AP doesn't watch every single game. If you look at their rankings, its literally based off of eye test only.
