Anyone worried about how long Wade will stay?

Either scenario...
You either have F. King use Alleva as the sacrifical lamb, but he was pulling the strings the whole time, or
They both keep their jobs.
Why would Will Wade, who will be(already is) a hot commodity in the coaching market, stay at LSU when he knows the leadership is chicken shite, caves to media pressure, and will throw him under the bus the first chance they get?
I was already worried before they wouldnt upgrade facilities and pay him well enough, but now, I see no reason why he wouldnt leave the admins as soon as he gets a solid opportunity. Id love for him to coach here the next 30 years and be a legend, but at this point - could you blame him for leaving if he does?
This has nothing to do with us, the fan support, but everything to do with the incompetency of the LSU leadership.
Thoughts?

He’s happy to have his 2mill+ dollar a year job back. I think he’s proven to himself that championships are possible at LSU....
I think he sticks around for a long time

Been thinking the same thing. If the current administration stays in place, I think Wade bolts the first decent offer he gets. I wouldn't blame him one bit.

This is why both Alleva and F King have to go. They are only concerned with themselves instead of what's best for the university.
They completely caved to a Yahoo media article, suspended the man at the mere appearance of impropriety, then when they do meet, magically, he's reinstated because they know full well they screwed up but instead of admitting they were wrong, they throw out yet another unnecessary comment about Wade. Again, to save face so people think that they actually know what they're doing.
It's been one screw up after another with those two and in such a high ranking position, that's not who should be running the athletics or the university.
They gotta go.

yall are insane if you think schools will be beating down our doors to buyout wade's contract while the scandal is technically hot.
if things somehow completely blow over, then sure, we should panic. for now though he's locked in for a good while

Any idea what the buyout is, and for how long?

This job is the quickest route for him to get to the NBA. Win here and they'll come after him.

Two years for this to blow over and he continues winning he gone

Because he has already laid the foundation for this program. Plus he has the support of the fans. There's not many fan bases that would have stood up for him the way this one has, and he knows that. Most of the LSU fans are loyal to their coach. This means a lot to a coach. Wade mentioned when he took the LSU job to begin with why he wanted to coach at LSU. There is a tradition here, there is past success, there are players in this state. Yes, some years the talent level is down, but when it's good, it's great. Why would he want to leave, just because his immediate supervisor is a douche that overreacts and panic's to media pressure? There's too many plusses in the equation and not enough negatives to quit.

FKing-Alleva-EarringWilliams appear to be three stooges in a clownshow. At the least, both Alleva and FKing's feckless fingers should be removed from LSU athletics. Either Alleva gets canned and the new AD's chain-of-command circumvents FKing, or both FKing and Alleva are shown the door. The latter is preferable.
Aside from that, if I'm Will Wade, I'm job shopping.

Ask anybody at Alabama how that works!

As long as those two are in Leadership positions, he will be looking for the first decent opportunity out !!

this, PLUS he's smart enough to know that we are in the slow process of pushing out Alleva and FKA, that being said, he'll give us some time I'm sure to make those moves and get him a supporting admin

I believe Alleva has a year left on his contract. I think he’ll be replaced after that

Its not just Alleva though, its F. King who truly orchestrated this, and apparently Alleva is just his puppet. He will likely just hire a new AD that he can push around.
Then there is the BOS that hired F. King to begin with. Then not one but two governors that appointed the BOS. As long as Louisianas long history of political corruption and ineptitude influence its flagship university, LSU will suffer and it trickles down. Its depressing when you realize, you can remove all the weeds that grow, but without the stem, they will just come back

I am very nervous about this. I'm hoping both those two clowns in Alleva and Alexander are replaced and let go which would make it much more likely Wade stays here longer. But as long as those 2 are here I'm nervous of wade leaving.
You want your bosses to have your back. Eventually theres going to be a time where that's going to come back to bite us if they are still here.

he is damaged goods. i doubt any big hitters will be sniffing around for a while.

Y'all may not realize just how "damaged" Will is outside of our fandom. I doubt any bigtime school is gonna hire WW anytime in 2019 or 2020. After a couple of seasons, WW will be hot again marketwise.
My hope is that LSU Admins treat him right going forward and that he and his wife have not soured on Baton Rouge/LSU. My #1 goal for LSU sports is for WW to stay at LSU for many many, years.
