I hate early starts, regardless of sport. Let's face it, college kids are not early risers and I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us. Most college teams work on a set schedule, such as working out on certain days, hitting and pitching at certain times or days.

It just concerns me because an 11 a.m. start is way out of the norm and can really throw players off. That could be compounded because they are also playing at a location they've never been played at before.

I'm sure Coach Johnson will do his best to get the players ready, but when you're dealing with college kids and drastic changes, it's easier said than done! And let's face it, early starts also don't allow for LSU fans time to consume adult beverages to get in the right mindset.

We seemed to handle it fine in Hoover vs 2 top seeds

No, the boys will be ready.

Hate the 4pm marbles game tho. Pray for rain and a late start so we can

If anything I'd be concerned it is too late, we played great at 9:30 last week.

Didn't LSU just win two games combined 20-1 with a 9:30 AM start time? I think we'll be ok.

LSU has won every game they have started before noon this season by 8 or more runs. Of course that was only the first two games they played in the SEC Tournament

In the travel ball era these kids grow up playing at all different times of the day. Only old guys on the internet make a big deal about start times

If those games didn’t go well, I’d understand the concern.
