Having just won 2 back to back 9:30 starts notwithstanding, college ATHLETES are early risers. They do this to get early workouts in ahead of classes, etc.

Not to mention that the opponent has to play early as well!

No, when we are at the Box we chose the early game on purpose. That way we play earlier and have more time to rest for the next day. Also gives you a better shot at getting your game in if there is weather.

I understand that we just won two early games , but this is against a team we've never played, and at a site, we've never played at before. SEC teams play at Hoover every year and against opponents we are familiar with because we've played them during the season.

I just find it humorous that most LSU fans hate when the football team has an 11 o'clock kickoff, but sees no problem with the baseball team playing early. Based on many of your comments, I guess playing a football game on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium isn't that tough on opposing team and is a complete myth because time of game is irrelevant!
