Of course he’s not -Doesn’t fit the prototype of a CFB playoff QB -Was recruited under a different coach -He accepted a Burrow transfer cause he didn’t think Brennan was a dude. In a era where good QBs are starting earlier & earlier -Again they’ve been in contact with D’Eriq King -Brennan has not looked good in the in-game opportunities he has been presented with

Evidently you are never tired of being 100% wrong.

King is going to Miami as of today, so dream on. Brennan will be our QB in 2020 and he looked good in several games he played in this year, most recently the UGA and OU games.

I'm sure he's not the runner Burrow was, but are we sure he has no mobility?

He needs to work on pocket presence, but he ran a spread offense in high school and had solid rushing stats. Him not being able to run at all is a myth created by this board.

He had to have meant that figuratively. Obviously Myles is the QB now.

That’s not going to play in the SEC.

6 ypc for a QB absolutely will play in the SEC.

Earlier this year Coach O said Brennan was going to be a great QB and he has a great family, solid kid.

Why's that? How come one of the other highly recruited players on the roster not be the QB next year?

The probability of King coming to LSU is low, but that report to Miami has been retracted.

I’m not sure there has been anyone more consistently right about LSU the last three years than me. No need to go over the laundry list. You just don’t like me for whatever reason. That’s on you.

I think you are reading into to it to much Rev.

Brennan is man for next year.

I hope Brennan saw how Burrow used his legs just enough to make the defense change the way they play defense.

I don’t like you because you are an arrogant a-hole, but no one on this board is wrong more than you and everyone knows it but you. Those the things have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

You are talking about highschool

27 yards per game

About 300 yards per season

Dude is one of the best athletes on the field. In high school

That doesn’t always carry over to the SEC. all you need to do is watch him move to tell he isn’t that dude.

Imagine having a take like this & telling someone else how wrong they are about something

Your 8-win coach just orchestrated the best season in college football history.

Could be. I just don’t want to hurt Brennan’s confidence if he indeed is our guy next year.

I was hoping after the Natty our fanbase would become a bit less retarded. Unfortunately it's just gotten much, much worse

That has pretty much happened after previous championships too. They tend to bring in a ton of new posters. That's great for the site traffic, but you are bound to get a bunch that are kind of clueless.

The next time the team suffers a loss, it will get interesting on here.

Burrows per game was 38.6 ypg on the ground

Not sure where you’re getting that. At LSU, he ran for 767 yards in 28 games as a starter for an avg of 27.3 ypg.

I will beg to differ.

That being said, we are in agreement on MB at QB. You are a tad more harsh than I am but still in agreement to a degree.

My take, his high school numbers are inflated. The competition was poor for the most part. As for his rushing yards in high school...that is unimpressive.

However, I do believe that the job is his to lose. My God, he can't be any more prepared. If he doesn't step up right out of the gate, then he clearly doesn't have what it takes. If he shits the bed, then he can go to Tulane or USM after he graduates. He deserves the opportunity though. Hopefully the staff at LSU has done their job and the guy balls out.

Just my .02.

Unlike you, I have readily admitted that I was dead wrong on this. Many times. I’m glad that I was because I love LSU more than being right.

I also agreed with you at the time that our other backs were better than CEH. Wrong again. I have no problem admitting it. I never wanted him gone, but I was also very critical of Aranda earlier this year. He turned it around.

In contrast, you were still trying to prop up your CEH bullshite just a couple of weeks ago. Want me to go dig that up? The difference between you and me is I will admit when I’m wrong. You just keep right on talking out of your arse.

But I don’t even have to go down this road because EVERYONE on this site knows you and your tired bullshite.

but the publicity from the trip would help in recruiting.

he is talking about recruiting. We need to start landing those 5 star type QB's. Caleb Williams would be a good start. The next couple years are going to be all Brennan. No way one of these freshman, Johnson or Finley, come in and beat out Brennan, nor is Parrish going to beat him out for the 2021 or 2022 starting QB position.

I think people are under estimating Brennans running ability. He is fast. Everyone knows he has the arm. Not going to have the strength or durability of Burrow, but few QB's do.

I’m just talking about this year in the new offense
