Reporter asks O about staff and Sullivan traveling to Seattle to “learn” from Pete Carroll. O interrupts and says Sullivan went to teach them not learn. Crowd chuckles a bit. Reporter tries to clarify what he thought O said previously but was interrupted again. O tells him what he said and asks if he’s clear on that.

It was an odd exchange and there was no reason for O to lose his cool.
this sounds like a whole lot of nothing to me. Y’all have fun.

Nobody earns the right to yell at anybody. If a man or woman is doing thier job asking questions and its your job to be there and answer questions ,do your job. So O and Satan have no right to act a fool . Earn my arse.

If we do end up headed towards 6-6 Pomansky will get ahold of the power grid.

Thanks, nothing wrong with man love my friend. I do try to take in everyone's opinion and learn a thing or two. Just because I may think this season is gonna be tough, that doesn't mean that I'm going to say we can't win. The talent is there, hopefully these new offensive coaches are the answer.

I agree. I wanted Fleck but am not going to act a arse over it . Hoping nothing but the best for the University I love. Not ever going to hope failure on anyone associated with LSU.

could actually question your fandom for being ok with it. Why don’t you hold our program in more esteem?

If he wins, great. we will not be embarrassed by his W/L record, only his embarrassing personal faults. This thread, after all, is about the latter, not the former.

What is success?

It's has to be more than what the last guy was doing when he got fired. You're asking what if Orgeron ends up winning 10 or more games every year and lands LSU in a couple of SEC championships and a legit shot at the NC before this contract is up? We'll all be elated.

What's the likelihood you put on that happening?

People distill the criticism O receives into it being us wishing failure or hating LSU. What I want doesn't matter. If it did he wouldn't be coach in the first place.

What you want doesn't matter either, which means you can want all you want but it's not going to affect the bottom line one bit. I'm interested in what's the most likely outcome for this football team with Orgeron at the helm based on what we already know about him. And the answer to that is not good.

That has nothing to do with what I want to happen. O's ability is what it is, and all of our wanting to be great isn't enough to change it. I don't get the "want" conversation at all.

I have no idea what you just said. I was a huge Les fan. I’m not pro- or anti- Orgeron, but I hope he goes undefeated this year. That’s the same thing I wish for every LSU coach, every year.

My point is, what you want and what I want has no bearing on what's going to happen. That's what some of you don't get for some reason.

You guys hear criticism and you conflate it with us wanting Orgeron to be a failure, which makes no sense to me. He is what he is, and it didn't happen because people didn't believe in him enough. He's not good at his job.

Yep. Exactly what happened at Bama, so they fired him, and when the next guy was mediocre* they fired him. Finally they hired Saban

We did the same thing through the 80's/90's and ended up w/2 titles. We stayed with the Miles too long due to offensive woes (maybe) and now we'll likely go thru multiple wash and rinse cycles until everything is perfect in LA for an upswing...doesn't happen that often and we don't have the national recognition of 77 titles like BAMA.

...and that's the way it is today, good night until tomorrow.

Exactly right. So why do all the blowhards bitch all day about how much they hate our coach? Pull for and cheer for the team. Be positive on social media. If the program face plants, it will be addressed. Until then, chill.

The reason for the down votes are because for some reason DP thinks he can win in the court of public opinion by using alters and minions on this board.

There it goes again, "hate." Who says they hate him?

I hate the fact that he's our coach but I have not once said I hate him.

I may hate Alleva though.

You are full of shite if you really think you help pay his salary. Give those tickets up and there will be ten people in line to replace the likes of you.

I rather Ed O hire his staff and deal with the consequences of his record. I could give a shite less what the media or general consensus thinks of the hires he makes. Complain all you want but to question the hire of a coach is like the little spoiled liberals who complain about Trump being elected.

How many people are going to make this asinine comparison?
