More like nuss was hobbled so the playbook was limited till Saturday when nuss was close to 100 percent hence why he had his best game of the season

I’ve never understood this line of thinking
You only play 12 games a year
What are you holding back for
Maybe you don’t show whole playbook for southeastern but Kelly could not afford to lose against Clemson

In 2019 lsu opened with ga southern and didn’t hold back

It's a silly concept. You run your offense. You try to win. You may underscore some plays to take advantage of tendencies or weaknesses of your opponent. But, you run your damn offense.

Kelly said as much after the Florida game, but he could just be blowing smoke.

Flashback to the Les era. Secret playbook coming out.

The secret playbook was usually some half trick play that he busted out for Bama that usually didn't work.

If Kelly has said that, he is out of his coaching mind.

He said that he's been holding Sloan back from being more aggressive because of the Nuss situation in combination with leaning on the defense. You can go watch for yourself.

If he was holding back the offense against Clemson in the biggest opening game of the season against a ranked opponent on the road when we hadn’t won an opening game in five years, he’s a complete fricking idiot.

He’s definitely holding this team back from being a superior overall team. If that’s not what you meant…then no.

And he was largely referring to going for it on fourth down. He elected to punt and play field position instead. It wasn’t a completely different playbook.

How long will he hold back? Year 3? Year 4?

Will he wait until he's fired?
