I sat up in the very, very top row last year when Clemson played Stanford. Top Deck isn’t as terrible of a watch than you think it is there.
For context, I live a couple hours away from Clemson and we take a guys trip there every year for a weekend (few guys in our group are alumni and one has a lake house there). One of our good friends gets tickets for less than face value. Reason for going to Clemson and Stanford lol.
Also ticket related- they sold a very limited amount of extra tickets to season ticket holders. Usually he can get 8 extra. They opened it up to them for only a couple hours a few weeks ago and the minimum purchase was 8 tickets for $250 a piece.

Prices have gotten obscene.
Agreed but as long as people pay those prices it won't go down. They are certainly pricing out the average guy with a family.

This really isn't a thing for big time football games
I've never had an issue and I've done it for a lot of huge LSU games. The champ game was the only one it didnt nosedive, but it still fell 45 min before kickoff.

Clemson upper deck the same as LSU?

Hopefully, next year Clemson fans have to pony $1000 for a nose bleed ticket in THE TIGER STADIUM !

Yep, you of course want the game experience and to support the guys but it’s just too nice to enjoy your day, no travel, and watch the game with friends and family instead of being ripped off nonstop for the tickets and at the stadium

I know some people who did that in Vegas, they ended up not getting anything bc the few remaining tickets skyrocketed.
I don't know what your friends were looking at, I was in Vegas and got 50 yard line seats in Modelo VIP section tickets that came with all you can eat and drink for half price. I literally do it for every game and it works without fail.

Nah. My income is slightly above average, nowhere near wealthy. I just spend most of my entertainment income on a football trip or two with my son each year.

You may have gotten lucky, but get in the day of the game was anywhere from 2-3x higher than Saturday night on ALL of the sites. You getting lucky on a pair isn’t the experience most had.

It's why I don't really go to live events as much anymore. People can't help themselves, and then bitch and moan about how much everything costs.

Ok, whatever you say! Keep doing it the way you’ve been doing it then. I’ll keep getting primo seats on the cheap.

A large group of us bought tickets in the LSU upper deck, somewhere around lower/middle rows for a little over $300 each around 3 weeks ago. It's not going to get better baw.

Go to the game and try and find a seller outside the stadium last minute ! Back up plan :identify a nearby local watering hole to watch with other LSU fans if you can’t buy a ticket !

Clemson set the price this way and offered only 500 lower bowl seats.
I hope we put their band in Port Allen.

I paid $600 for one seat at the OU game. Then $351 for one night in a hotel there.
To me it's not worth it for an average game.
