I think they’ll probably play hard and come out blazing, at least for 3 quarters. But as usual Bama will destroy our arse in the latter part of the game and run away with it. We’ve seen this movie before.

Unless we got a whole new Offensive line, it will be a long game.

Not particularly. However, wouldn’t be surprised at all if we come out with renewed life and intensity and end up giving them a good ballgame. Who knows, probably should have won that game in ‘21 as huge underdogs.

They most certainly will not lose; it’s a bye week.

If nothing else, I expect the play calling to be better. Most thought Sloan was awful and couldn't work his way out of a wet paper bag. I expect creativity and wrinkles with the backs involved in the passing game along with the use of the middle of the damn field.

I think we win out

Is Nuss playing?

Not sure we can win but I'm curious about the line. 9.5 maybe?
The line was 17.5 before Kelly got fired but has actually dropped considerably since then.

Nick Saban is no longer there. I think we play inspired ball and outright win. Love backing a team with nothing to lose because the pressure sits squarely on Alabama’s shoulders.

I don’t think there’s any shot they win the game,
I think Alabama is a better matchup for LSU than Ole Miss, Vandy or A&M. Simpson has been really, really good this year. But while somewhat mobile, he's not really a "running" QB. Chambliss, Pavia and Reed all had 70+ yards rushing vs. LSU. Simpson has 79 yards rushing, TOTAL, this season. He's more like Cade Klubnik as a runner than he is Reed. Theoretically, that means LSU can play more of the style of defense they prefer, vs. the one that can't stop a running QB. Bama is also not a great rushing team (14th in SEC). The strength of LSU's defense is its secondary. While they won't win every battle, I think they can matchup with Alabama's receivers.
The question is will we see Sloan's offense, just called by a different guy? Or does LSU adjust the approach over the bye week? Sure, the OL and Nuss have had their struggles, but IMO, a LOT of that was because of an absolute dogshit offensive approach that no amount of talent on this LSU team could overcome. Still, this team has players. Anderson, Thomas, Barrion have ALL made plays against SEC competition for multiple years. Green has been an emerging star. Berry been able to at least provide some juice to a horrible running game approach. Now just imagine what those individual pieces might be able to do if an actual P4 OC was steering the ship?
This has the potential to be like 2021, only with a win. That year LSU finally rid itself of O's stupid defense that didn't work for the better part of 2 seasons and attacked Alabama. It worked. If LSU had even a slightly better QB that night they win the game. Here, the defense is better than 2021 and the offensive personnel, on the whole is too. The result likely rides on Atkins playcalling.

For those proficient in "reading the tea leaves", there is not only a strong "feeling" that LSU could beat Alabama, but might actually dominate them!!
A rational belief based not just on a hope, desire or feelings; but on historical facts/evidence/precedent.
For those who are aware and able to discern the difference; and have then further accessed, applied, personally tested and thus now Know & Understand (Believe)...... the "All Powerful Wisdom & Truth" (the who/how/what/where) that is given, found in the statement/verse:
"The Letter Killeth, but the "Spirit" giveth Life"!
I am not pontificating. I am talking about how/why LSU beats Bama next week! But this factual statement, truth/reality also needs to be made:
"For those who understand, no proof is necessary. For those who don't, no proof will due"!
It's complicated, and can not be solved like an algebraic equation. But again, for those who are able to access & evaluate "the Totality of the Situation/Circumstances Involved", including the many powerful culminating factors, elements, events, details, timing & past historical precedent (factual evidence). There are too many to list and/or explain. But I will give you One that is very simple & easy to understand, remember. This one fact & precedent, though incredible, is not even CLOSE to the far more + many other Significant (singular & plural) "indicators" which when combined......are scaring the crap out of those who "see" & understand
the above!
** What happened after LSU fired Les Miles? Assistant Coach Ed Orgeron was installed! And what happened almost IMMEDIATELY, and then continued, evolved into the "Greatest Team in NCAA Football History"!?! **
(again - this is not a major tenet of the "case" or belief that LSU has many favorable factors colluding together which can/will = Victory in Tusscaloosa!
There is INDEED Very Powerful & Real Reasons to Believe that LSU will Beat Alabama!

LSU's Talent/Ability IS, and has been, always there! The sudden/recent, bold & courageous Changes are going to immediately IGNITE the Players & Team!

Nah the players have checked out. Especially the ones that are looking to transfer. Just going through the motions

I’ll say the say the same thing I said before the Aggie game, it’ll snow in BR on July 4 before we win next Saturday !
Posted on 10/31/25 at 7:22 pm to GrizzlyWintergreen
In order to have a stellar performance that offensive line would have to be much better, and that’s where my apprehension lies!!!

In!
Actually wouldn't be surprised if we kept it close...
But I think Bama wins
