...or maybe miniscule is the right term....or inconsistent. Just an oddly called game behind the plate.

That delayed strike 3 call right before they pulled Evans had my heart in my throat.

I feel like this is said every week though.

I will say the delayed strike thing was weird.

He had a tight strike zone but at least he called it the same for both teams.

It was mostly a small zone. He would occasionally give some but reel it back in. He did not like low strikes.

I thought it was really tight and pretty inconsistent, but pretty evenly so for both teams, at least.

It was small but consistent for most of the game, then he started expanding inside to lefties and outside to righties as the game went on.

Far from the worst we've seen this year. Maybe even the best we saw all weekend. I was at the game Friday so I can't say how that one was.

He was all over the place the last few innings but I felt like both teams got some calls in their favor so whatever

He was squeezing LR at the end of the game. He was making the right calls but his zone definitely tightened-- probably due to Evans just owning it for 4+ innings.

Started consistent. Became inconsistent. Tired.

Not the word I would've used.

Fkn ridiculous?

Yeah that's better.

Actually he was very consistent, though very tight, until the last two innings or so. Started with Stanfield’s at bat and we got a close one on the Evans strikeout. And he did seem to delay his calls more towards the end.

And he squeezed the life out of Evans then opened the zone all the way up the next 1/2. Dude was drunk.

We must have watched a completely different game. He was really consistent the first six or seven innings. Tight, but consistent.
