It was just as fishy as the TD called back at the end of the temple / ECU game last week that affected the line drastically.
Huge money is at stake, and I guarantee referees are at the very least “aware” of the point spreads.

Yes, and they missed holding/facemask on an LSU defender by a Gator o-lineman on that exact play. I really thought that's what the flag was about until Herbie started on about the quarterback getting "submarined."

I was a horrible call. How herbie and the booth analysts agreed with it is beyond me

Horrible call. If the thUGA hit on Helinski that took him out of the game wasn't roughing, the hit on trask wasn’t close to roughing.
But yeah, poster above is right... rule says can't hit at or below knee area.
Hip, or even thigh, is above knee area.

Haven’t even seen it yet and they didn’t replay it in the stadium. From real time it looked like a bunch of men just falling on the ground together

Agreed Raging Red. The PI was a blaten BS call. The face mask no call was pathetic blind zebras at work. If that roughing the passer would have cost us the game IMO there might have a riot in Death Valley.

Exactly... and it didn't even look like it to begin with. Ridiculous. Trask must be the most deformed guy playing football if his left knee is that low, and his right knee is up by his right hip.

The final line was 14 so yeah they made the push. For those who got in when it was good, 13.5 it did not affect them. But they set up UF Offense really good to give the the opportunity to break the line. Our D just happened to rise to the occasion.
