It is a different style but they play hard and are very competitive…coaching staff is very very involved during the game.

If you are able to attend a home game you will be standing much of the time with 13 plus thousand other hard core fans and yelling every tiger rant you can imagine…

I have season mens and womens.. I enjoy the heck out of attending the womens… it is wild… mens will be back and for now I enjoy my mr pip at the game and am there to support the players while they and the team evolve… had to do the same for jj team …

Enjoy the moment… but heck…. I enjoy watching Curling at Winter Olympics…

99% of the population can’t name a single WNBA team

But they know Griner is in WNBA. That’s the extent of their basketball knowledge for women

Even the most diehard progressives fall in that category but they’ll be the first to call you out

When you watch women's basketball you have to lower your expectations. Rarely is there any spinning to the baseline for a layup. You hardly ever see a rebound and put back in one motion. And everything is just slow.

But once you set your expectations it can be fun to watch when we are winning.

That’s college basketball period. The only major sport where the college game is nowhere near as good of a product as the pros. Baseball and football are fantastic at the college level. That being said, I love college basketball lol and March madness is one of the best things in sports. All of what I said can be true at the same time.

I find it more odd that numerous people feel the need to make this exact thread after every single girls game.

We get it. You don’t like it. It’s not like the men. We know jackass. That’s why they don’t play each other.

But as a dad of girls who play bball, who watches LSU and high school girls bball too all the time, this constant whining is really weird and tiresome.

Just dont watch. And then pass by the threads about the womens team. Isn’t it beneath you anyway? Why stoop? Keep that nose up and move along.

It’s just attention whoring at this point.

I was thinking the same thing. These CAN'T be grown men making these kinds of posts. I mean, I hate soccer, baseball, and gymnastics, but I don't waste my time making posts to let you all know how much I hate it. Additionally, there were over 18,000 fans at the women's game on Sunday. So, none of what the original poster says is even valid.

Much of that is because the mid-range jumper is considered to be a "bad" shot now, so you have a lot of guys taking 3's who shouldn't be, along with a lot of tough shots at the rim.

Very good point. I’ve never been tall and didn’t play bball past 9th grade because of my height, but I was pretty damn good. I practiced the hook shot going right almost out of bounds ad nauseam almost to perfection at my house on my goal and I hardly ever missed shooting it in a game. It’s so difficult to defend that it makes me wonder why it’s been forgotten?

+1 here.

If you watch a lot of girls'/womens' games that you have a stake in, you can develop an appreciation of the game that can carry over to, say, LSU games, where I would like to see all of their teams do well.

If you don't like it, fine, why keep coming on here and complaining? Would it take cancelling the womens' program to make you happy? Just quit coming on here and bitching. If you see a thread about wbb, DON'T CLICK IT! JUST STAY AWAY!

Jesus some of you guys bitch like little girls just to draw attention to yourselves.

My arse isn’t glued to TD and I’ve been dealing with my sisters death, so excuse me for missing all the threads “attention whoring” about womens sports. By your own logic, passing over the threads talking about it would be easy, wouldn’t it?

The one game between two teams ranked in the top 3 makes up for the multitude of games that don’t draw shite huh? Not just talking about LSU womens bball. Please enlighten me about how it’s drawing the masses out night in and night out, lsualum96.

idk I don't watch basketball and I watched the game yesterday before the superbowl and I was impressed how good both teams looked, they would just pull up from anywhere and make the shot,I only watched the first half but I thought it was really high level

Well, as a matter of fact, the top teams............like in the men's college game...........DO indeed draw good crowds. I don't know who "the masses" are. But what I DO know is that it's much more popular than you obviously care to take note of. But that's okay. You don't really have to like it...................just like I can't stand LSU baseball............but what is the psychological discomfort that compels you to comment on something you DON'T EVEN LIKE? I NEVER post on the endless threads about LSU baseball on this board, because it doesn't interest me compared to major league baseball. It's like what one of the posters above said. Some of you "guys" bitch on here like little girls, about a sport you don't like. Why?

1. I am sorry for your loss.

2. That doesn’t excuse your whining. You are “glued” enough to TD to start a thread to whine and bitch about a sport you obviously don’t care for.

3. I don’t pass over threads on the womens team because I’m interested in them. I discuss the team often. So the topic interested me and I opened it.

4. Here’s five more minutes of my time of me responding to you. I actually hope you don’t respond. But if you do, please see above comment about attention whoring. I imagine thats why the thread was started. But to be honest I would rather you just read this and move on so those who care can discuss instead.

Women's sports, basically yes. But I like women's golf only because I know how difficult the game is.
