[quote]Sure. Because of the soul-crushing monotony of life and utter insignificance of the human existence and of life itself. [/

Well, I admit I shouldn’t depress by a sport. But I can assure you isn’t insignificant.

I just got my nephew into it. Football will be here soon and he will be my sidekick to basketball games

Not depresssed, still pissed

I was set to spend some money in Omaha but now I've cancelled and need to figure out other options... maybe a trip to some Cubs games!!!

To make matters worse, I live amongst the Swine who are "OmaHOGing" all over NW Arkansas.

fricking Pigs...

No

I expected us to fall short of reaching Omaha months ago so I kind of anticipated this

Just frustrated and I think that’s just the vibe surrounding any fan, player, or coach that is involved in LSU baseball. It was just a frustrating season and we’re all disappointed. Things just didn’t go our way this year

No. It’s a game. The sun came up the following morning.

This team was likely “2 and Q” even if it had made to Omaha. This was an average team. I think they gave great effort to achieve what they did.

I was for about an hour after losing Sunday. Over it now. This is a good time for fans. There are no LSU sports to distract you from whatever else is important in your life. Enjoy this time, catch up on some projects, and get excited for football.

If it makes you feel better, 99% of the country cannot name a single team in the CWS. College baseball is barely a blip on the radar in the American sports scene. No reason to let it bother you.

I'm not depressed because of a game. There are much more serious things out there that are disturbing than baseball.

Bruh, I fly for a regional airline. Last night I stayed in Tallahassee, FL and tonight I’m overnighting in Omaha. But, I’m still going to wear my LSU shirt and head downtown to check out the Stadium and all. No reason to be depressed though. Just a game.

no man, I get concerned during the season if we lose a series or we aren't playing well, but when the last game is over it on to the next sport, and hope we will have a better baseball team when February rolls around again. It's on to football.

The disappointment started after TX series. This past weekend was just a matter of time

Much like in life, you rarely finish on top, you enjoy the season for what it is. disappointing, yes, but I still enjoyed watching the team.
