Auburn baseball, has better pitching and hitters than LSU. This should never happen.

I’m not saying Jay Johnson should be fired, not even close but he’s got a lot pressure on him next year. LSU fans won’t settle for another year like this year.

Auburn has a national seed locked up. There are way worse teams that have better players than us. Auburn is the least of our worries. And they have a good program so kind of a weird thread.

I’m willing to give Jay Johnson a frick up year or two. He’s human, and maybe he got a tad lazy and too confident in himself during recruiting last year.

Whatever it is, I’d be willing to bet he knows exactly what it is, has already pinpointed it, and has a plan to fix it for next year. He’s a perfectionist and he’s harder on himself than we are on him. He’ll get this fixed.

Anyone who uses “never happen” in regards to LSU baseball should be shunned.

Why? Why should a program that just dumped a shite ton of money into the baseball program, led by a very very good coach, never have better players than an injured LSU team?

Why just Auburn? You haven’t noticed that every SEC team other than Missouri and South Carolina has better players than LSU this year?

While I do I agree to an extent I think Jay hit on the freshman, he just whiffed on the portal which I think he learned his lesson. But the freshman he has brought in have grown and contributed and will be great ball players

No, not really. It's the NIL era and we lost a lot off of a championship team just like 2023. You're not going to reload every year in the NIL era and if you try you're not going to get it right every year.

They have one of the most under appreciated coaches in the country who consistently wins with average talent. They develop pitchers better than most in the sec and always play smart fundamental baseball.

Is Auburn dealing with any injuries? Serious question. I just don't follow them that closely. I do know their HC is one heckuva pitching coach.
