Great in his day but it was way past time for him to go.

Moffett was great in 2019

was bad when LSU had 38 scholarship players in their bowl game.

It’s crazy seeing a fan base shite on someone who had so much success here

Gave a lot to the university and was a great coach for a long time.

but i think it was time.

doesn’t mean we need a thread like this

I can assure you Flint, who has never been the head S&C guy ever until now, has not passed Moffitt up

Those of us who paid attention saw great improvement last year.

Does the D-line look strong to you? Does Saivion Jones look like he put on too much weight and lost quickness? Are the DBs and safeties getting run over?

I’ve watched the games. We are weak and slow. I don’t know how you can deny this

Not one person in this thread has done that. But you remain a drooling lackwit.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were in the football facility 24/7 and you’ve attended every workout and practice.

I don’t have to attend a practice or a workout to notice that the players look weak. I can see it on the field with the lack of push against Grambling. The same talking points for why y’all wanted Moffitt gone are still here. They beefed Saivion too much, that was obvious in the FSU game

We had our OG complimenting the other team on how strong they were lmao

yes he has, and from the sounds of it you’re either a Moffit friend or a close family member. Either way you definitely sound biased.

He was literally the mentor of most of the top S&C coaches in the country and won the award for the best S&C coach in 19. He took the brunt of O’s lack of discipline with the team and himself after 19. He was handcuffed and not allowed to discipline anyone Bc O didn’t give a single shite after the championship . Flynt seems like a good coach in his own right but has a long way to go to match Moffit .

The Head Coach is all that matters. He will get the right guys in the right jobs, or else he’s not the right Head Coach.

Orgeron was an exception. Miles had some great coaches on that squad, and Orgeron was able to add some zest, a QB and a offensive assistant, and he rode that until he destroyed the program.

The LSU fanbase absolutely appreciates Moffitt. A few Rantards on this site are not an accurate reflection of the actual fanbase.

Now that Moffitt's gone, our players don't even have muscles.

Cool, look forward to the numerous Natties he helps bring home, along with several S&C Coach of the Year awards.

Miss him being @ LSU? Yes.

You can’t take away the fact the guy was an incredible S&C coach for a LONG time. Miami, UT, and LSU all won Natty’s with him - and he loves the Tigers.

Don’t throw shade. It was just time to pass the torch.

If you’re such a man.. why not go tell him how you feel about him.. he still lives right here in BR. Or maybe go ask one his sons… the desire to shite on a man who no longer works here and routinely put out great athletes through his program is sad revelation about some of our fanbase.
