He received 200k, an apartment and car to leave Liberty. "Yesterday's Price is not Today's Price"

not taking away from his ability, he is solid...but there is a big difference in getting separation at Liberty, and getting it at LSU.

He looked like our most consistent receiver before he got hurt.
Could have a good year if he comes back.

Did that actually work for Sage ? Maybe he didn't have any other offers and BK was kind enough to let him return and get paid his regular amount.

I predict that he stays at LSU. I am sure he had a small deal for one year at LSU, Needs to add some leverage. Now, Anderson announcing so early is a little concerning that we only retained one of them, but I am confident. If he stays healthy he is looking at a good year next year with Lacy being gone.

Is this really it? What is he even worth? Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see this as a huge lose at all. I mean he is replaceable.

He’s not as good as he thought.

He was putting up monster numbers at liberty. In reality he isn’t able to consistently separate, his route running is meh, he doesn’t have the ability to jump over a defender.

He has pretty sure hands, I’ll give him that. But he is nothing but a possession receiver and we have better possession receivers on the team. (Kelly has shown that our possession receivers will be the TE position)

This team needs a true deep threat with speed. This team needs a guy that can jump over a defender to catch the ball at its highest.

He isn’t that.

I sure hope you're right. Kids a baller, played through injuries, and when healthy he's really good.

ProjectP2294 — is on the money about this. LSU is big boy football. You wanna be the best — then you gotta play with the best.

I think he may want to play with is old Liberty QB.

This would make perfect sense to me! I understand, but don't want him to go.

Mercenary mentality. Daniels looking for a bag

Idk if that’s true. He was the guy at Liberty. Here, he was simply in the mix.

He might wanna go somewhere that has him being the main options I know he would’ve likely been WR1 next year but it’s apparent we’re gonna spread the ball around.

He might be looking for a situation where he’s getting 10+ targets a game, even if it’s for a worse team.

Given what we are hearing about our QB room, I would think Daniel's draft stock would be higher with another year with Nuss vice in a new system and with a different qb. I hope he changes his mind and returns. He was an excellent possession receiver to move the sticks.

I didn't say money played no factor. I think he also came here because he just saw 2 1st WRs get drafted and wanted to up his stock. His stock wasn't really improved here because he just didn't get the ball enough.

I think he wants to go somewhere that's going to target him an absurd amount so he has a better chance of getting to the league.

Even if he catches up with the money he probably won’t be able to hold on to it.
