All this meaningless talk wouldn't gone on if the Tigers weren't leading by a ton of runs in the 9th inning. For this reason, I hope there's a lot more of this meaningless chit-chat in the future.

I think this is the best explanation I've seen to describe him.
Kinda like Pat O'brien who was such a prodigious name-dropper and when it became a source for folks to make fun of him with - rather than run from it - he embraced it and made a bit of fun of himself with it.

Easiest way to spot someone who DOES care about downvotes is to watch them go on about how much they don't care about downvotes.
