I never even came close to inferring the second coming of Vin Scully was required. All I'm asking for is good. There is a large gap between the second coming of Vin Scully and good. Mere competence is the only requirement.

Actually, I feel well-rested. I'm not sorry my standards for a college baseball game aren't low. Asking for a good baseball announcer is not small. It's a request for an enhancement of the product.

No, my definition of good is fine. Rollins just doesn’t fit it. Take away all of the schtick and then we can talk. But when your schtick outweighs the rest of what you do, then you’re not good. Gus Johnson is a perfect example of this.
