Emery is the second highest-ranked RB recruit in LSU history, Fournette was the top one.

21st highest all-time recruit at LSU

The "Ranking Scale" needs to be calibrated immediately.
To date, he has been the biggest disappointment.
I hope he takes advantage, if he is back.

In the 2019 Florida game, the coaches put freshman Emery into the game where he promptly missed a blocking assignment on his first play. Joe Burrow turns to the sideline and screams "get him the frick out of here!" Emery was then called off the field.

If I were Emery, that would have been the moment where I started doing everything I could to avoid that kind of embarrassment again. Instead what we have seen is 4 years of fumbles and ineligibility with occasional flashes of elite talent.

It's year 5 guys. He still doesn't do the things he needs to in order to succeed. It's probably not going to happen. Best to move on.

Looked to me like Burrow didn’t bother with the sideline, but turned straight to Emery and (“Get the frick out of here!!”) ordered him off the field.

The players should hold themselves accountable, but man did Orgeron really frick up the maturity of some of these players at an early stage. Look at that 2019/2020 recruiting class for instance.

I hate to break it to you but Emery wasn’t the ONLY one laughing at the Team because they were playing horrendously & deserved to be laughed at!

He's an explosive back who we shouldn't give up on, especially considering FEW people here know anything about his situation.

Let's hope the kid figures some things out and suits it up in the fall.

I certainly would not give up on Emery, but certainly hope he can get his academic act together, whatever it takes.

After the recent addition of Diggs to the running back group, I think this group will do just fine. The two freshman recruits should be helpful as well.

He and Trey Sanders were 1/2 in that class and neither have lived up to the hype.

Emery may go down in history as one of those guys who had major promise, but it never materialized on the field.
Cecil Collins 2.0. It did materialize for a few games for "Ceisel the Diesel" but "Off the Field" stuff killed it, like with Emery.

Sorry but Emery can't hold Cecil's jockstrap. Cecil's worst game is Emery's highlights.

In past situations like this, the cause of them sitting out was dropping below 12 hours making them unable to compete. Getting 24 hours over 2 semesters and summer isn't overly difficult. He was eligible to start with, so he must have been ok in the fall, which probably means between summer sessions and correspondence course he probably needs 6 hours

7 - Anthony Johnson
8 - Arik Gilbert

11 - Terrance Toliver
12 - Marcus Spears
13 - Marquise Hill
14 - Craig Loston
15 - Kevin Toliver II
16 - Harold Perkins
17 - Ben Wilkerson

Kid?? When is the "kid" going to take some responsibility for his life? You can no longer blame Coach O or the system.
Williams was a "walk on". He did it.

if he is, in fact, done at LSU, Emery is one of the, if not the, biggest busts in LSU football history... easily
