Is this a minor deal or could this be something serious long term?

From CBK’s PC

- Will Campbell: will be released from hospital today...passed a big medical test and things are looking promising...status for Saturday unknown. Still has another test he needs to pass.

I’m just curious if this is a day by day deal or did something happen that could potentially affect his life going forward.

If he was sidelined for being dehydrated, I don't see why he couldnt play this week.

doubt it matters anyway

it wasn't dehydration

Kelly wouldn't have called it an episode if it was just that

This

can be the driver to discover the problem is this

dehydration

Now the question then is why was he dehydrated. If it was simply working out, running, etc. without adequate hydration, simple solution. Otherwise, who knows.

Dehydration in the fall is pretty uncommon but it’s a good go-to when they don’t know what it was. An “episode” sounds like a neat fairing episode. It would make sense that he had the flu and who knows what the spell was. But hopefully it was related to the flu and he will be fine long term. Not sure about this weekend but seems like he can play if they didn’t find anything.

An "episode" can be anything. It's very possible he had some sort of virus (flu, covid, something) and was extremely dehydrated and had a full body cramp which required medical attention. I've seen it happen one time in summer football camp in high school and it looks like the person is having a seizure.

Definition of an episode lol. It requires immediate and constant IV's and they run a bunch of tests just to make sure that's all it is. I'm sure we'll hear more today from BK, so there's no need to over speculate (like what i'm doing right now )

Dehydration can exacerbate the fever he was already getting from having the flu thus resulting in why he got so sick. Pretty common, sure he'll be fine.

Don't know the kid but what I have seen makes me thing that he is too disciplined for that so close to gameday. I could be wrong though, like I said, I don't know the kid at all.

When reports are, "he had an episode" I wonder if he's epolectic or something?

Dehydration ruled out.

Flu ruled out.

Mono ruled out.

We see him in a IG post of Will receiving an IV in a hospital bed with EKG pads mounted on key locations around his chest.

But we are not allowed to go there. No, no...don't speculate about it...something that has been happening to young athletic males for the last 18 months.
