Highly rated four star, signed with Roy. Had lots of potential.
Hurt in the fall and I have heard almost nothing since ...
Any reports on whether he is progressing?
TIA

I've heard he's performed well at the 1 technique but the staff still wants him to lose weight this summer. He's strong as an ox in the middle though.

Was hurt against Bama. I think on his 1st play from scrimmage last year.
Ankle roll.
Should be practicing but haven't heard him singled out by Orgeron. Hopefully he provides depth and sees some playing time this year and gets ready for bigger things in the future at LSU.

Lot's of upperclassmen ahead of him that will be on an NFL roster. He will play a ton the following year.

Problem is he fits perfectly is a 3-4

I think at this point he is just going to be a rotational guy at this point.
Evans is also going to get time.

Roy should be 1 starter and farrell will probably be the other.

They actually have too many guys at dt

Right lol

Farrell & Logan are gone next year

A guy like Langston prob redshirts

A guy could transfer before the season

You’re back to playing 2 DTs. You have 8 guys. I don’t think it’s a bad number considering farrell & Logan have exhausted their eligibility. I would actually call it a sweet spot.

Yes they do.

Logan
Neil Farrell
J. Evans
Roy
Guillory
Eric taylor
Maason smith

7 dt is too much.

Taylor Smith and Evans haven’t shown anything.

So that’s 4 proven DTs which is awesome.

Until someone gets hurt, quits the team, or enters the portal. Then you'd hear how crappy our lack of depth is, how we've done such a terrible job recruiting, or we can't develop players worth a damn.

LSU fans... definitely a special group.

Which is why I hope Jarell Cherry improves and B. Langston stays at SDE.

I have to think that Cherry still has a chance but he grew from 6-2 235 to upwards of 285 and hasn't found the ability to play there yet.

Hoping for Bennie Logan type of upperclassman year for the guys that aren't yet playing.

He isn’t really in the mold coach O likes(too heavy). Which is ironic because O’s best player who I am sure he tells everyone about on the recruiting trail was Warren Sapp.

These kids today don’t even remember Pete Carrol’s USC days, much less who Warren Sapp is.
