AND, Tennesee was giving us the short zone on the outside. We could get 8-12 yards any time we wanted it.
A competent OC/QB would have used that to get a rhythm going and then connected on the big plays a few times.
In reality, we couldn't execute well enough to put together drives consistently, and we found multiple ways of blowing the big opportunities.
It wasn't ALL Daniels...but Daniels deserves every bit of the criticism he's getting.

This. Stubbornness was the downfall of both Dinardo and Miles. Saban is willing to swallow his pride and make the necessary changes. That’s one of the things that makes him such a great coach.

At this point it’s obvious your REAL problem with JD.
Not a single person is saying that JD is legitimately a good QB. He’s not. We all know this. But to think that Nuss is better and the coaches (who are paid for their ability to analyze the best players) are somehow not a wise as you about who should be starting and are just not playing Nuss because of who knows why is just ridiculous.
Nuss is not better than JD. Nuss does not give us a better chance to win. Nuss is not the answer.
This year is going to suck regardless of who plays QB but obviously the coaches (again, the professionals at this) have reason to believe JD gives us better chances and winning the most games we possibly can. It’s time to accept these facts and move on and stop pretending Nuss is some kind of wunderkind who “just needs his shot to prove it”. He’s not.

There is no “pride to swallow” when you don’t have a better option. This has nothing to do with a coach thinking “their way is the only way” like Les. This is a coach playing the bad QB of the two that gives us the best chance to win the most games.

Right on cue making shite up. Nothing I’ve said alludes to not liking Daniels in fact I’ve blamed the coaches but you don’t actually bother reading my post. Instead you take a post about fans and twist it to be about Daniels. All I said about Nuss was he should get a shot based on what Kelly’s said and done. I said repeatedly we don’t know but we do know that we can’t compete with this QB running this type of offense so let’s see. He trusted him enough to play him in an important spot last week, why didn’t he play garbage time this week? Makes no sense but again this is about coaching so put your JD Pom Poms down and know what you’re talking about before you make accusations.

Wrong. There is no good reason not to at least give Nuss a couple of series to see if he could get the offense going, other than stubbornness or some personal dislike of Nuss. If Nuss didn’t perform well, he could go back to Daniels. Spurrier had no problem yanking QBs that weren’t performing, and he was a pretty damn good coach. At some point there is nothing to lose by making a change. It’s hard to imagine that Nuss could make things worse than they already are.

he shoulda been doing like spurrier from the get go. platoon and if one gets hot you stick with him until he needs to be replaced. what BK is doing is insanity. JD is not part of the future of this ballclub. NUSS can still be along with howard. howard will beat him out net spring. JD has had 3 years he does not get it.
