Some baw said give me $100 and I’ll go to Home Depot, make the roof the stands like a lean to, hang a couple of fluorescent lights, put down some carpet, and the boys will love it.

That looks terrible
LSU bullpen can’t even watch the game

And got to love the obstructed view poles they added

LSU doesn’t give a damn about spending money on the facility. Why do they have too? There is a waiting list for tickets that spans a mile long.. it’s sad, but true.

Thanks who posted the pics on the World famous baseball recruiting thread.. Wow! It looks way different. The picture of the bullpen under the bleachers looks like a Mississippi Junior College. Trash

Are they going to throw in the bullpen while sitting down?

I guess Jay wants to be able to hide who’s warming up for lsu
Maybe a little advantage

Holy smokes that that picture is downright awful and I really hope that isn't what its' going to look like

High school stadiums have better bullpens than that

I guess the catchers just crouch/kneel on one side while the pitchers stand in the open area that will have some mounds?

seems like pitching into an enclosed slanted tunnel would be disorienting or throw off your equilibrium

I don't see how you can have double barrel action going on with the bleachers slanted like that

Bullpen under the bleachers? Can't be real.
it looks like something a high school parent club would find to add to a hs program. That is embarrassing. I can hear the pitching coach on a mound visit to a reliever. “How you feeling?” “To be honest coach I don’t know. I was warming up on my knees and the catcher got hit in the throat cause the new tunnel is dark as shite”.

if that is the best we came up w let’s just move it back out into the field. At least we won’t have beer and nacho cheese spilling onto our players thru the metal bleachers.

I love how LSU is doing everything they can to preserve the bleachers. Even going so far as to build bullpens under it. If they would just let go of the bleachers all of this would be so much easier.

It looks horrible, but I'm hoping it's done that way b/c it's temporary and not a long-term solution. It looks like the pitcher has to leave the bullpen and walk thru the fan area to enter to the field which is just bizarre. As weird as it all is, Jay said his priority was getting the mounds off the field so I assume he approved this.

none of you guys have gone back and looked at the rendering. There will be more room created under the bleachers to house a full bullpen. There will be a door and a window so that they will be able to see the field. It was announced MONTHS ago.

Stop being such miserable whiny people who do nothing but complain.

I’m not an expert on that area but they couldn’t build out something covered and better looking on the right side of the bleacher legs? Did it absolutely have to be squeezed underneath them with that slope?
