Anyone defending the coach is an idiot. This bullshite “you can’t toss a coach in a national title game” trope is exactly why the roided up assclown thought he could get away with escalating AFTER multiple warnings and daring the ump to toss him by screaming “OR WHAT?!” If the ump backs down he loses control of the game in the 1st inning and it devolves into complete chaos. The coach has to be more mature and be a leader for his team.

That said, if the shoe was on the other foot you know damn well the vast majority of LSU fans would be blaming the ump. Maybe we should all look in the mirror and realize how pathetic it looks when you blame officials and quit doing it.

Lmao! True! I get a kick out of them. My radio is set to 1130 The Tiger so I listen to whatever show is on when I’m driving.

What if Coastal knew they couldn’t compete with us so they intentionally got thrown out so they could have something to gripe about haha.

Conscious or subconscious, this is where my head is at. Threshold of stress was met. Took themselves out of it.

You had me till the last paragraph. Saints no call provided undebateable proof that sports officials can do whatever they want with no consequences. So screw em!

But it wouldn't have been the other way around. Jay wouldn't have run out there veins popping.

Case in point… the game before CJJ wanted to discuss the Dickenson HBP reversal and as he was coming out of the dugout the ump warned him and he spun around went back in the dugout and STFU. Arguing HBP is part of the same rule Schnall got tossed on. Different ump, different game, different result.

I’m sure. It was an awful ejection and escalated by the umpire instead of de-escalated.

You’re basically a pile of bones on this hill at this point. You still trying to claim he was tossed without a warning?

Give it up already.

FWIW, Hunt Palmer was on Banzai and JJ’s Sports Talk radio show today and he basically said he thought it was a terrible decision for Campos to throw him out. Said that’s why he’s not employed in MLB anymore and if he was over the umpires association he would not retain Campos.

Hunt Palmer is a fricking chode.

I've seen more Tenn fans complaining about this than CC fans.

Schnall knew the ump's history. You take a stick to a hornet nest; you get stung.

nothing escalates a confrontation like, "go back to the dugout" .

You hit the problem on the head. When an ump gives the dugout a warning he owes the HC an explanation of why the warning was given. Instead of simply telling the head coach, he refused to talk to him, told him to go back to the dugout and escalated the situation to the point of a cheap ejection.

I’m glad you finally see what really happened.

The coach knows it is against the rules to argue balls and strikes and he repeatedly argued “you missed three blank calls” even after being warned. It was just not wise behavior by the CC coach in the first inning.
