How many were there anyway. Looked pretty one sided on TV

They didn't have a huge presence there their tails were tucked behind their butts. They knew what was coming before this game happened. If you paid attention to their media weeks before they were terrified of this game seeing Clemson in practice.

One Clemson guy posted on Twitter earlier and it was on my Instagram feed. He was actually very complementary of LSU and the game day experience and said that Clemson was completely outclassed and outplayed. He was leaving in the third-quarter lol.

Walked up to a group of guys while tailgating before the game. Welcomed them to BR and asked how they were being treated. They said I was the first LSU fan they had interacted with so far. Mentioned we had been to last year’s game and they wanted to know about our experience. Good overall conversation and told them after they’d been inside to not be surprised if they thought their stadium should be called Death Valley Lite!

LSU put the majority of the Clemson fans in the East upper deck, just like they did to us last year at their place.

Clemson fans were cordial that I saw and I never saw a single one being Tigerbaited which I found unusual.
When I got to Lafayette hotel two Clemson fans walked in while I was checking in. I turned to look at them and said, oh man, that was a brutal game for you guys. They dejectedly agreed. I asked if there was any thought given by Clemson fans to move on from Dabo and they said it doesn’t matter who your coach is you can’t win if you’re playing against NFL players. Of course I agreed, remarking almost everyone on the team will be playing in the NFL soon. That seemed to surprise them. Then they said they guessed it didn’t matter what your graduation rate is as long as you can win games. Of course I heartily agreed again. That also not being what they expected to hear they said the whole college football thing is totally messed up with the NIL and portal. Again I agreed completely and said we have so much in common. :)

quote:most were genuinely nice people the ones I spoke with. Talked highly of the town, food and tailgating experience. One said he’d never been cussed so bad before at one tailgait and the next tailgate he was given alcohol and food
from those that went to the game ?
On a different note ran into a guy from Canada who had a game here on his bucket list. So this was his first college game experience ever and he was stoked said after seeing this there was no way he’d ever go back to CFL games

Probably saw most everyone else doing it so fitting in well with the locals.

My post from another thread because I was there…
this did not happen dumbass. I was actually pleasantly surprised with hours of weather delays and being wet all game that people stayed well into the 4th quarter. It didn’t get to 70% gone until mid 4th so eat a bag of dicks

Had 4 Clemson fans sitting next to me, they left halfway through the 2Q. They go to an away game every season

Everyone I met was very nice. There was one fan in the stadium that kept flipping me off and trying to start crap. There’s always one though.
