Kiffin not only substituted qb's he didn't put them in just to run out garbage time. He had an offensive plan when they were in to score.

I can't tell you how refreshing this is! Kelly wouldn't even take out our qb last year who, because of injury, couldn't throw and couldn't run. Even in games where we were routing the other team in past years, no lsu coach put qb's in to substitute other than to just run out the clock.

you can't get excited enough about what our head coach brings to the table.!

Coach O pulled Burrow frequently in the 3rd quarter.

One of the most confounding things about the Les era was his refusal to give backups game time. If they were lucky, they got to hand off the ball with a minute or two left in a game.

But did he have a plan in place to play and develop the backup QBs like we saw on Saturday night?

to hand the ball off, not to “run the offense”

That’s because Les in general was a fricking retard.

Esquire shouldn't have to have I explained. We're talking about CEO and CLK. One is unlike the other but to say a qb entered a game in the 3rd and didn't throw a pass is not accurate that's all.

I’ve complained about this for years. Why put in the backup QB at all if he just hands off. He is one play away from being the guy and needs real reps running the offense

I'll never forgive that POS for not putting Lee in up 41-17 in the 4th against Arkansas on senior day.

i have no clue what the frick you’re talking about.

I’ve been going to games since 1986

in that time frame, TWICE in my entire life have the backups cone in and run the actual offense.
Matt Flynn vs North Texas (‘05 or ‘06), and this past Saturday night.

every other time, the. back up QB hand the ball to the backup RB running behind the backup OL.

You are so right! He's so dedicated and expects the players to be dedicated. The standard of excellence has been brought back to LSU.
