Yeah if he can prove he just bought it and didnt steal it he is in WAY better shape to be real.
Edit: So i looked possession of a stolen vehicle up. 3-7 years at the extreme end....other end looks like probation, communitiy service, losing your liscence stuff like that. If he didnt directly take it its likely he gets the latter?

I thought it was a Ram truck that was stolen, that he was driving, and it had plates from a car of his. Hell if I can keep up with it all.

My truck was just stolen in Dallas and sold to a guy in Anna, TX who thought he purchased it legit. Plates and paperwork looked legit until he kept flagging the same plate reader for fraudulent plates. Nothing happened to the guy.

I guess the statute of limitations has expired now but TJ Finley was running a PS5 scam at LSU back in late 2020

TJ Finley? Is he coaching now? No way in hell he’s still playing right?

Trivia question.
Name high school coaches who coached two starting quarterbacks for LSU.
Hank Tierney
TJ Finley at Pontchatoula
and
Mickey Guidry at Shaw.

Didn’t expect TJ Finley to be working with Memphis Raines

The extreme ends are more for people who run chop shops and stuff like that. They don’t go around throwing the book at people who get scammed.

What kind of scam?
Can you explain?

Most of this board would not believe how much WKU paid him. I don't know what he got from Texas State.

Damn shame. Looks like his life is going off the rails when someone has so much potential and fails badly their life typically goes to shite sooner or later.

Was Arik Gilbert in the passengers seat?
This thread immediately made me think of him.

In order to be charged with possession of stolen things, as opposed to theft, he would have had to have known, or arguably should have known, that the item was stolen.
So either a bad purchase or a bad decision. Did they say what kind of car?

I tried telling ppl on here when he was being recruited that he wasn’t SEC caliber but no one would listen.
You most certainly did (and I 100% agreed) but you were down voted to hell and back because of your assessment.
He'll never play a snap on any level of professional football.
