Both teams were 13-17 in conference with 4 series wins, though SC did play Kentucky while LSU drew Auburn. Non-conference, SC went 0-2 in a weekend series with Clemson and played no other Top 150 teams on the weekend. LSU went 3-0 in Houston with wins over Texas and ULL and took 2 of 3 from Xavier. Overall LSU has 13 Top 40 wins to 11 for SC in weekend play.

Of course we aren't defending anything. We dont have armed guards protecting the '23 trophy from attack. But that has nothing to do with human nature's involvement in the process and its humans that will choose the 64 teams.
Did you read my post? I literally said its a bad thing, it shouldn't exist at all, and we are fortunate to be the blue blood in this case. Again, the body of work is all that SHOULD matter period, regardless of what team is involved in whatever sport.

So in the Alabama versus South Carolina matchup on Tuesday, which 13 & 17 club should we root for? I think Alabama’s rpi is better than South Carolina’s.

We aren’t playing like a top 25 team. The inability to sweep Auburn, the Friday night loss to Bama. This 2 games in the 2nd half of the season and we aren’t even concerned about regionals sitting at 15-15

It’s really is sad to watch how out of touch with reality LSU Baseball fans are. I love LSU Baseball. I actually think we beat UGA. Without that win we don’t make it! It’s a must!

None of us know that. You may have that opinion, but the committee might have already seen enough. I’d feel better with a win vs Georgia, but we don’t know if it’s necessary for being selected.

If LSU wins Tuesday I feel like their 100% in. Plus they get into double elimination and have 2 more chances at another win which would put us at 15 total wins.
