I know we’re getting off topic here but this is well said… tribes will form where they weren’t before, when people feel under attack. I do worry what’s going to happen when even 20% of the white population becomes a fraction of how tribalistic the black population is. I also think it’s funny that people from other demographics think it’s not going to happen or don’t think it could be dangerous if a substantial amount of 60% of the population got like that.
We are certainly seeing some tribalism form gradually from white WNBA viewers and I bet that trickles down to the NBA though it’s definitely not going to be as pronounced. I think it’s worse in the WNBA because the only reason people are watching now is because of personalities and identity. The product just isn’t good enough to get people watching for any other reason.

I can honestly say I haven't watched a second of WNBA, but it's undeniable that clearly there is more attention to it. Viewership is up and they are reportedly about to sign a media rights deal that will be a 300% increase from their current one.
Hell, look at the MSB on here, there are at least 2-3 new WNBA threads a day.

Just say you started watchijf WNBA this year . Stewart is a beast for NYC Liberty woman MVP last year she is white. Sabrina Ionescu has a shoe deal with Nike and is good. It is alot more white women that are having successfully WNBA careers. Lol

Reese's jealousy is obvious. After LSU won the natty she was getting all the attention. This past season she had her issues and in the meantime Clark became the national sweetheart. Reese never regained the spotlight and now she's bitter.

I don’t agree that she’s always been embarrassing. Granted, I’m not a follower of what she does on social media, but I watched just about every televised game in 2023, plus I’d catch most of the postgame pressers on YouTube. I didn’t see her do anything embarrassing that whole year until the last two minutes of the championship game, and then she played the race card shortly afterwards.

Have you actually paid attention to her? She is CONSTANTLY screaming at the refs and everyone else. She pushes off and flops at every opportunity. She needs to have her arse put on the floor.
