Yeah we all could have predicted that.

It hasn't stopped since the day he was fired

The topic of whether or not Wade should have been fired has beaten beaten to death 100000x over

Here's the thing, I don't really give a frick about daily updates on a Southland conference team who's entire season will hinge on winning or not winning a tournament 4 months from now. He's not the coach here anymore and won't be anymore. Nothing Will Wade does at McNeese St is going to change what happens at LSU. People need to move the hell on. But for whatever reason this board creams their pants every time McNeese St basketball does something. It's gotten old

Because it is human nature for the fanbase to long for a popular HC who won here at a time the current state of LSU basketball is terrible. It adds fuel to the fire to the argument that the AD made a bad decision in firing Wade when his hand-picked successor is not winning. Coming off a 2-16 SEC season Wade won as many conference games in two weeks as McMahon has won in an entire season.

Is it somewhat annoying to have all of the posts about Wade? Sure. But that could easily be fixed if McMahon would do one thing...WIN! Whether they admit it or not, most LSU fans actually want to move on. But when the current state of the program is what it is there is ZERO excitement or interest to talk about it. So prepare for more Wade posts/discussions until LSU either starts winning or makes a coaching change.

This is the issue on both sides, in my humble opinion.

We have posters telling us - those I don't consider true basketball fans - to just suck it up and move on. All the while we have the unfortunate few that really want LSU MBB to succeed. When we go away, you'll have no one left. I've seen it at the end of Dale, Brady, Trent, and Johnny.

I really don't need to hear a justification of the psychotic and obnoxious behavior of our fan base. You want to complain about McMahon, fine. Have at it. He's the current coach and the team sucks again. But having circular and repetitive arguments about an old coach for 2 years is not just human nature. Wade isn't coming back, and Woodward isn't getting fired over firing Will Wade regardless of how good Wade does or how bad McMahon does. Having real-time updates of the life of Will Wade isn't going to change that.

You could say the same about many topics on the rant. Not just this one. But for those who are actually fans of LSU basketball, it become increasingly more frustrating to watch the former coach (who LSU got rid up) have success while the replacement continues to struggle badly.

At this point it is kind of a case of what do you want LSU fans to talk about? There is literally nothing positive to discuss about the state of the current program. In fact, things seem to be getting much worse from an already dismal first season. At least last year LSU didn't lose to a Southland conf. opponent, nor did they get blown out by a below average ACC opponent within the first month of the season.

What about their other 4 wins?

Which losses do they have that are equal to lsu losing to Nicholls?

Sure it is. Most people have an innate need to say "I told you so" when thing they predicted come true. Is it obnoxious? Generally. But it's human nature. That's basically what the constant posts about Wade are..."I told you so's" in response to the many who took the opposite viewpoint of saying "good riddens and "Wade sucks" when he was let go.

I really can't understand why Wade is so polarizing to LSU fans. But he is. And right now the guys who support him have a MUCH stronger leg to stand on than those who didn't...so they are letting you (not you personally) hear about it. Of course, there is something that can completely flip that narrative, McMahon winning (or McNeese collapsing). But until that happens, be prepared for more "I told you so" posts. Fighting against it isn't going to change anything. So you are probably better off just ignoring them.

This will fall on deaf ears.

I'll one up Andy Katz and say there will be a handful of TD posters discussing LSU MBB after the new year.

There are many here that personally know the taste of Wade’s checkbook nuts. I’m sure you’re a proud member.

They're not LSU basketball fans.

It's strange to me too. It's like they're happy Wade is gone and LSU Basketball is back in the trash can.

Can we just forfeit the season to save the embarrassing blow outs that are headed our way ?

Actually, the reason is pretty simple.

Many who support Wade greatly overexaggerate his level of success and ability shown at LSU. That, in turn, creates an opposite reaction of those who don't support him greatly underexaggerating his level of success and ability shown at LSU. Neither side wants to back down and admit they are BOTH (partially) wrong. So they just continue to yell louder.

Unfortunately, Wade's early success at McNeese combined with McMahon's complete lack of success at LSU only strengthens the pro-Wade crowd's fervor....much to the chagrin of the anti-Wade crowd

Where does an LSU fan that has been a MBB fan for his entire life live in this mess?

I'll give you my take... drive-by fans can do whatever they do, just don't tell me what I should know and believe.

I've never been this distraught Nov 30 for an LSU Basketball team than I am today. Everyone can TIFWIW.
