That doesn't explain why LSU has June 13th on their website.

So you think they would put the UCLA matchup on Saturday, but LSU/Ark on Friday? Do you not know how the CWS works?

It starts 6/13.

So LSU could play at 1pm or 6pm. Got it

No I didn't say that AT ALL. I said there's a possibility LSU plays on the 13th at 1pm or 6pm. UCLA would play in the other timeslot that day. That was idiotic to suggest.

that's the start of the CWS, for planning purposes. its said that since February. we'll play Saturday, as the left side of the bracket dictates that.

You responded to someone else that suggested that they won’t make Duke/Murray play on Friday. That means LSU won’t play on Friday since it’s the same side of the bracket, but oh well you can be proven wrong when they announce it

Not 100%, but 99.9999%

It could easily be Friday night. LSU already went H2H with NBA ratings last night so that won't matter.

Im not sure why you are willfully trying to play dumb about the possibilities of day and time. Its pretty set in stone, whether its been formally announced or not

Vs Arkansas:

Anderson: 5.2 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 10 K, 1 BB
Eyanson: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 11 K, 1 BB

Why end of story?

I'd rather see Eyanson. He's been better lately and had more success than Anderson shutting Ark down. But Jay will 100% pitch Anderson.
People here don't like to admit that Eyanson has been better. His ERA is better. His opponent's batting average is lower. Anderson has allowed 5 or more ERs on 4 occasions. Eyanson has done it once and that was back on March 1st. Anderson did it Saturday. Anderson walks a few less and k's a few more. Anderson is a great option. But I'd reverse the 1A and 1B designations that everyone uses.

Has Jay told the CWS what day he wants to play yet? He controls that doesn’t he ?

Arkansas has been better against lefties and hits a decent number of HR's.

Eyanson could be a better matchup for us in this game.

Eyanson did have better numbers in his start against Arkansas than Anderson, no doubt about it.

Gave up less hits and didn’t give up a run, and more Ks in a slightly longer appearance.

Big question, what is Arkansas’ offensive numbers against lefties and righties?

I admire the willingness to continue the argument in spite of all logical evidence proving this wrong.

1. LSU's side of the bracket all played Sat-Mon SR games. That wasn't just a coincidence. It's because that side of the bracket will play the Sat-Mon games in Omaha

2. Duke and Murray St are playing tonight. The NCAA is not going to squeeze the winner of that game by making them play on Friday...hence why they were scheduled in a Sat-Mon SR. LSU is on the same side of the bracket with the Duke/Murray winner. The NCAA is not going to stagger one side of the bracket by having LSU/Ark play on Friday and UCLA/TBD play on Saturday.

The only question is if LSU plays the afternoon or night game on Saturday. Past history suggests it would be the late game given Arkansas and LSU will almost assuredly (1) have the largest contingent of fans in Omaha and (2) have the largest potential TV audience. UCLA, Duke and Murray St. fans don't have the same level of interest as LSU and Arkansas fans.

If Murray State wins today they will almost assured get the Friday 1pm. It's the least watched game and putting LSU on Friday prime time would be their move. We also saw Arizona play at 9am their local time so they won't care if UCLA has a 11am PT first pitch on Friday. I'm not sure what you're not understanding.

The NCAA doesn't a shite about rest. They care about ratings and money
