Why? Seems like a waste of money.

These assistant figures could be before any supplemental pay from TAF, which would explain Krags salary being reduced that much.

frick off, shithead.

If you don’t get the point the original poster made, you’re a dumbass.

But hey ... I bet THIS is the part of the post you had problems with:

This will be one less excuse for losing to Bama

But enough. I don’t normally respond to a paid shill and dick sucker, other than to stop by and downvote.

What? O altruistically "taking less money" for the good of the program?

He's not "taking less money". He's taking over $1.5 million MORE than his actual market value. That is unless you think someone besides LSU was going to pay him at or slightly over $1,000,000 to be a position coach.

That’s not really the point. O sold himself as a discount not with a discount. In other words he knew he wasn’t worth what the market value for a coach at LSU was.

“Hire me and support staff you need to compete with other big time programs or hire someone else without the support staff.”

In the long run, this will help the program because the staff has already expanded and is part of the “budget”. I’m not trying to praise O for this, he did what he had to do to sell himself; he wasn’t looking out for the program, at least not above himself. But the byproduct is an expanded staff which is a good thing because it was needed to stay competitive and will persist after O runs his course here.

Are you sure Ree is a paid shill?

Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Unlike what you may be able to accept, an LSU fan liking the fact that the program has added support is not a bad thing.

How happy will you be IF LSU loses more than they should? That is the question you need to ponder.

Surprise surprise. Defensive ones paid well. No wonder our offense is clueless. I mean honestly, can we get something that remotely resembles a Read Option? That is what moves the chains in 2018. Not this Under center Iowa looking offense.

There are no stats guys. All coaches. Coaches are great but we need some numbers guys on staff, too.

Yet, more positives on turning this thing around. Made possible by O taking less money so they could put more money into the coaches, and staff, and get some coaches off payroll.

I’d rather a HC who actually is an x and o guy and takes care of at least one side of the ball.

Plus I’d rather an actual successful OC rather than promoting the guy who was the position coach of a nkt so successful position.

Should we really be impressed by these offensive consultants?

The question I have is why are we able to attract analysts at such paltry salaries to live in such a shut hole state with a terrible quality of life according to you yet we can’t attract big name coaches at 70 times those salaries
